VERY average kuih. Came here to try out their kuih after reading the reviews (and also it seems like this place is a must go when in Melaka). Sigh I was really hoping the taste deserved the good reviews but was extremely disappointed. Texture of the kuih was not very smooth - Overly sweet, garish colours, lack of flavour and kuih size was way too big!! They also have main courses like laksa and Mee Siam which were also very average but I guess judging by the quality of the kuih, I should’ve known better.

I love the asam fish, nyonya laksa, cendol, popiah and ABC ice kacang. The place is air conditioning and you may sit outside for smokers. They do sell other stuff like cencaluk, keropok and cookies. The kuih muih sold out fast. Better be there as early as 9am to get the kuih muih. Thumb up for me.

This cafe is crowded even after lunch hour. Suggest to sit inside if you dine in because outside have flies around the food. Laksa is delicious. Asam rebus is sour+sweet but I feel it's similar to prawn mee for first bite. Ponteh chicken is tasty but slightly sweet for me. Cendol durian is yummy with gula melaka. Anyway cendol is pricey for small portion. Overall the foods are yummy with big portion and reasonable price. Recommended this cafe if you don't mind to queue and food waiting time at least 30 minutes.

It's my first time to visit this place since high rates from website. The worst experienced I had in this place. We waited for an hour & just ask with the person in charge he answered with rude and inpatient attitude. At the same time, another two tables also response waiting almost one & half hour there. At last, three tables of us cancelled at the same period. Boss answered us, just wait la.. Very busy leh.. Then show face Wow, what a fantastic response Maybe your foods are good, we had never try & won't visit again.. Service really need to get improved

I must say this is indeed a very good spot for nyonya cuisine. You have all the regular choices & of course the nyonya laksa is pretty good. In fact the Nyonya Mee Siam is awesomely yummy. And for dessert, their cendol is to die for - not overly sweet and just nicely balanced with the gula melaka. Oh and by the by, the nyonya kuih muih is a must have ??

Went at 4+pm, no more kuehs. Only left with nyonya zhang. The zhang rice was very chewy and hard to separate. Servers gave us plastic fork that bends when u try to cut up the nyonya zhang. Cendol was bad. Ice was rough. The saving grace was the gula melaka. Pai tee was good.

Lovely set-up but was crowded at lunch hour, especially with the food and souvenir shop section taking up half a shoplot space. Very delicious asam fish...ordered a set lunch that came with rice, fried egg and small bowl cabbage soup. The asam curry was thick and sour. Just perfect with rice. Mee siam was nice with spicy sambal but not the nyonya laksa...just too much santan for me and not much curry inside. Popiah was not that good either...skin was thick. Pie tee was better. We ended lunch with a box of ondeh ondeh and cendol. A must have desserts if you are in Melaka. The ondeh2 were very soft but not the best that I have tasted. I prefer with more pandan taste on the skin and bursting gula melaka inside. Service was great.

Good variety and service. Used to be really good in the past few years but not anymore. Taste and quality is below average. Fish and gravy seems like they fish was boiled and added to ready made gravy. Noodles had no flavor. Cendol is poorest I have had in Melaka. Not a place to return.
