Peanut pancakes is a traditional snack in Penang, it ’s popular among all Malaysians Manjang cake is a traditional "civilian" snack in Penang. It is popular among 3 nationalities. ❤️ 50 years ago, Manjang cake was thick, only peanuts + sugar were fried in a large frying pan and then cut into pieces to eat one or two pieces would be full and dripping In the 1970s, I started to use a small frying pan to gradually change from thick cakes to thinners. In the 1980s, people began to make colorful fillings when they were desserts. Go in Personally nostalgic, I like the most primitive food, "memory" ?

Peanuts in crispy crust mix with butter/margarine and white sugar. Crunchy yet full of flavour of peanuts, buttery and sweetness. I prefer my with brown sugar that have a hint of caramelized taste. Close usually by 4pm. May have to wait up to 20mins if there is a bulk order earlier.
