★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The apparently Famous Laksa is average at best. It gets a good draw from the ultra famous Ban Chien Kueh Push cart that operates in the same driveway. Otherwise this eatery is very typical and not exceptional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite an old coffee shop with a few hawker stalls. I haven't really tried the food there except the Ban Cheang Kueh stall managed by an old uncle. It is delicious imho and usually I love to customize my order like adding extra peanuts or mix and match some ingredients myself. Give it a try, it is really good if not great. ;)

I m quite perplexed to see some acrimonious remarks given by biting customersma in the review(freedom of speech). Truly, the food here is delicious especially laksa. Even the foreign tourists put their thumbs up. Should get a try on the food here. Don't slip the chance!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mostly locals who visit this coffee shop. Many above average tasty food such as nasi lemak, assam laksa, fried rice/mee and lor bak.
Lor bak was tasty until we get a second round to not leave with regrets. Try the small prawn, beacon and flat lor bak.

chicken rice (very cheap and yummy), indian rice, laksa, apam balik
the open space kopitiam is also very comfortable
with a vintage feel
