★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One excellent market to enjoy breakfast and lunch. Breakfast you can always enjoy some delicious nasi lemak and kuih and great coffee while the place is loaded with lots of great food during lunch.
My favorite items here for lunch includes che hu (chinese pasembur), chicken rice, char koay teow, nyonya kueh and nasi tomato
Parking is rather convenient although the big parking lot can fills up rather quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good local flavour with Kopi Kia Barista. Had an afternoon cuppa and toasted bread for RM3.50
Good price, good experience for a delicious cup of Kopi (Kopitiam Coffee with Condensed Milk and sugar) and "buttered" (margarine) toasted bread.
If you haven't been, you've got to try at least once and enjoy the experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My stop over everytime reached here in Penang. Great varieties of coffee. My first time tried these nasi lemaks, introduce to you nyonya, sambal, ikan and udang. Can you guess which is which ?. Have a great holiday.

Sellers are very approachable, happy and pleasant. Every thing from shellfish ,fishes and vegetables. Another section for pork and a far inward area for chicken. Dry goods are also available .
Overall a convenient market including parking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice neighbourhood wet market serving the Green Lane, Batu Lanchang, Jelutong areas. Fresh produce available here starting from early morning right through the afternoon hours. The shops are arranged by type of produce, so you will find vegetables all in one place, seafood at a different part of the complex and so on.
Variety is not an issue at all, but do shop around and bargain before buying, though prices are normally set at the price displayed. The retailers normally would throw in some extra goodies when completing the sale, just to give some value-add and entice you to come back again in the future.
Next door to the market is the Batu Lanchang food court as well, which offers a plethora of local Penang favourites for you to savour after a hectic market run. Do visit that as well, as it's a local secret, still left untouched by the throngs of foreign visitors and out-of-towners.
