★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main dry and wet market in Bukit Mertajam for many years now. Needs a major renovation. Renovation works will be carried out most probably from Feb 2020 in conjunction with the renovation of the famous People Kong Cheng temple which caught fire and extensively damaged the interior of the temple. You can get almost everything at this place. A good place to visit to see it as it is before it is renovated and spruced up.

I had physical contacts of people nearby by accidental touch one to another and this should be avoided and most of fishmongers and sellers aren't wearing their masks. Please wear gloves and mask properly before going.
