β β β β β I have fond memories of eating Balinese bebek. However I should have been suspicious when at about one hour before closing time, the stall still had like 5 whole ducks hanging on the display.
I had the curry duck and upgraded to a thigh. Big mistake as it somehow managed to be simultaneously dry and tough. The thigh was also poorly chopped into, leaving bone fragments mixed in everywhere in the duck meat, making every thing a pain to eat. The curry sauce was delicious but they barely gave enough to cover the duck portion, there was not enough for the dry rice. For this price they really shouldn't be this stingy.
The other components of the combo are nothing worth talking about, kind of there as an afterthought. Overall I found this looked nice but turned out to be disappointing.

β β β β β Been wanting to try the curry duck rice and managed to do so last weekend. They offer combo set which comes with a drink. The curry duck dish was surprisingly delicious. Duck meat is tender and juicy. The curry sauce was pretty good too. However they only give the curry sauce just enough to cover the duck meats and not enough for the whole rice. Such a letdown. Hope you read this review and amend accordingly. Thks.
