★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter and I went for lunch. The food was delicious, and service was quick and they were accomodating to my request.
Very relaxed atmosphere. ? Food came very quickly (in fact it arrived before my daughter's watermelon juice ?).
Downside: I took my daughter's leftover food takeaway, but she did not pack the coleslaw and then still charged me RM 1 for takeaway container.
Only recommendation , I would like to have seen a kids menu as the portions are too large for a toddler.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the most disappointing lunch here earlier today. I found a strand of hair and informed the waitress. She apologised and quickly called the manager. To my absolute surprise, the manager just casually walked to me and asked, “ada apa ye kak?” After i told him, his reply was, “oh okay so akak nak apa. Akak nak ganti ke?” I just looked at him.. speechless. Then he walked away to replace a new one. No apology, nothing! Discourteous and unsympathetic. Do you have an idea that human hair in food is not only gross but also poses many health risks?! In F&B, this is a HUGE NO. Contamination in food, poisonous! Also, what kind of manager calls a customer “kak” like we are dining at a hawker stall?! Not that i mind, but the lacking of etiquette is such a disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second visit to Ben's and first visit to this outlet. Food never fail to satisfy. However, price is at the high side. But overall, still a good place to have lunch and hang out with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor management during Hari Raya holidays. There were quite some food crumbs under the table they ushered us to. The waitress put down two wrong orders and couldn't take correction in a professional manner. I was alright with the first wrong order, but I couldn't let the second one go because of her attitude. The redemption was that the food was actually good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here at 6:00pm on a Sunday. Here’s a few things to keep in mind before dining in.
1) Uncomfortable seating
On a busy day, you might just have sofas as your own only option (see pic). I came with my mother and grandmother, so i didn’t think it would be very comfortable for them. Luckily the waiter had switched out the sofa seat with an actual wooden chair for my mother (bad knee). But it was definitely difficult for my grandmother. Honestly, it was even a tight fit for me.
2) Long waiting time for food
I’m assuming the cooks try and get all the food out at the same time, because while my mom’s pasta was hot, my chicken was a little cold. If that’s not the case then they’re probably just shortstaffed.
3) Unnecessary costs
This is probably the first (sort of) high-end restaurant I’ve been to that charged for a takeaway. It was RM1 per food container.
I’ve been to Ben’s pre-pandemic and it was definitely better before - service- and food-wise. My opinion of Ben’s has just gotten worse and worse (including at Publika) so honestly I don’t see myself coming here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At Bangsar shopping center, Ben’s has quite spacious dining hall, plus VIP room for reservation. Not too crowded. The staffs are nice and welcoming. Seating is good, you may have long conversation with your friends. Food are good at reasonable price. I enjoyed their salmon. 3rd floor, the entrance may be slightly confusing, maybe not enough signange.
