★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to leave a review because I used to frequent Bornga @ City Square prior to COVID but was quite disappointed today :(
What made Bornga a really good experience were the portions of nicely cooked meat for the price point and the staff cooking it in front of you. Unfortunately today, 1) the meat was cooked then served to us, 2) portions were really small, 3) meat was overcooked (beef was tough and dry, pork was burnt and oily)... And for that price point, it was no longer worthwhile :(
Will not be back again unless there are changes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They actually already reopen on April. This is my favourite korean BBQ restaurant in Malaysia.
This restaurant also is my first choice and must come back when causewaylink reopen！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service with the staff is doing the BBQ for us. Yummy side dishes full of many choices to wow you. And it is refillable and free flow of tea. Need to order at least two portions of meat selection to satisfy the one tummy. Large dinner area and private room to cater for different patrons in bigger groups. Seating are very comfortable and good spacing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They provide good service with the staff helping with the BBQ. You can do it by yourself if you request to! Generous serving of side dishes and they provide free flow roasted barley tea.
I ordered the Woosamgyup Beef and Pork Belly. Loved the marination for the Pork Belly. It is definitely of good quality!
The soup was also flavourful ! Worth coming again :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So delicious! I was mind blown by all the side dishes and meat. The best meal was the sirloin. They cooked it so perfectly. The chicken was cut into small pieces and charred it was crazy delicious. I would give it 10 stars if I can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited on 9th Apr 2022 after border re-open. Still nice as usual ?. I feedback to their staff that google map indicated the restaurant is permanently closed which provided wrong info. Glad it had been rectified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the same Bornga as the one in Suntec City Singapore! So, the food is similar standards but a big discount off the Singapore counterpart.
The food is good and the wait staff is attentive. They will cook everything for you before your eyes at your table. Only thing with all Korean BBQ places is you smell smoky after every meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm shock when they served the meat, they grilled for us without informing. The staff told me they've been doing this since mco. I don't understand why they wanted us to order minimum 2 portions of meat since they don't have to start off new stove, and why do they think it's more hygienic if they grill for us. Well, at least they should inform upon ordering.
