★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice but not the nicest. Noodles texture are indeed nice and very reasonably priced. Portion is huge. Will go back to try other stuff on the menu but ya piao near KSL is much better.

6 months on. Mee quality still good and portions are huge. Wantons are aplenty. Good for a quick meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked on the 6th floor of Capital Square, this eatery has very good noodles. Not too springy or too starchy. Love it with the original sauce. The accompanying wanton and dumpling are so-so. Come for the best noodles in town! Oh, and there's free usable wifi !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These are unique and special-tasting noodles that I have known personally (Robin and Elton) for many years, since the restaurant was operating as a coffeeshop stall near Jln Meldrum.
Today, the sweet young lady (probably Elton's relation) at City Square was so kind as to help me find my way to the Holiday Inn from the restaurant. I am grateful to her for her kindness as she literally walked me to the building lobby despite the lunch crowd at her restaurant. I sincerely recommend Ho Seng Kee for their unique noodles but also wonderful hospitality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Wanton noodles for the price. The noodle texture is chewy. The soup is well seasoned, though some may find it to be on the salty side. Wanton is also excellent, as the size is relatively large and the meat is well seasoned. Service is excellent, and the staff are friendly and responsive, though expect to wait as in my experience, a 20 minute wait time is to be expected even when the restaurant is not crowded. Other than that, the overall experience of eating here is great, and can be a good place to catch up with friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try once we touched Johor checkpoint CIQ. After 2 years, they even had frozen noodle can keep for 3 to 6 months at myr 10.90 only and adorable robots servers. Still very tasty after defrosting and microwave. One of best Wanton mee I had tried. We also tried the pork lard noodle and both noodles are Q. Yummy ? Appreciate the innovation of frozen noodle (3rd generation wow) as I had small appetite and cant eat much dine in. Now everytime I have craving for this noodle in Singapore can just microwave ?. My craving satisfied!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty food with traditional old school taste and reasonably priced.
Located at level 6 of Johor Bahru City Square, can take a lift or escalator up. Diagonally opposite to Watsons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop is tucked quietly at a corner of the rooftop. Although not full, there was a steady stream of customers. I tried the black non-spicy wanton noodles and I have to say, the noodles are really the star of the show! What worked even better was the inclusion of a side order of their Fried Egg! The combo of the noodles and egg(lightly fried with crispy edges) was amazing! The next time I'm here, I'll definitely try the Good Old Days Mee which is basically the noodles with two eggs! And I believe... Crispy pork lard! (Oh yes, for Singaporeans, stay away from the kopi c kosong...)
