Tried their salami platters, gnocchi, mussel soups, salad, and a dish with zucchini but forgotten the name. Four of us shared these foods, might be a mistake for ordering too many starters dishes because we end up feeling stuffy but not really full. The mussel soups and zucchini is recommended. Oh we added marinated prawn and tiramisu before we left too, marinated prawn is great but the tiramisu just so-so.

Original rating is 2 but my guest thought 3 was more apt because she didn’t expect much but I went with good expectations. - changed back to 2 stars 4 weeks after original posting Service is bad. I purposely waited for the crowd to clear just to approach for recommendations but response was more to brush you off by listing what seems like the entire catalogue. They have really good quality groceries, wine, cheese, hams etc. You would think with the fine selections, there would be someone there interested in helping you with pairings. Food is average. From pizzas to pasta- all average with a homely feel that could be contributed to the restaurant in an actual residential terrace house. All in all, good place for groceries and a very casual lunch but I wouldn’t come back again just because service is pretty darn bad.

Authentic! If it's an Italian you are looking for this is a real as it gets, from food to the serving plates and down to the mini tables you sit in. Ask any Italian in KL and they will know this place and Riccardo. Some stuff needs some getting used to such as spritzers. Reservations recommended. Expect to sweat a lil.

Excellent Italian food in the heart of KL, yet further from all the city noise. The restaurant is located in an old bungalow and offers a great terrace dining experience. It’s really informal! ? typical Chinese kopitiam chairs kinda informal? What did we have? ?Picante pizza ? Gambas al ajillo ? Charchuterie board ? Tiramisu ? A bottle of Sicilian red Highly recommended! The food was really delicious and really affordable! The seating place is limited; thus either come early, book a table in advance or be ready to wait. The place is really popular with crowds coming to dine in every night. I came on a Saturday night and it was packed with people waiting to get a table. Don’t forget to pair your food with a bottle of wine ? The Sicilian wine is good! They also have a Mediterranean grocery store which is worth exploring! Too bad I finished my dinner really late; thus had no chance to check out what they have there! ? next time!

Excellent Italian food at a reasonable price point. The food made me feel like a young man craving to bathe my tongue with cream and cheese. You get beautiful textures and flavours with the pasta and quality meats with the pizza toppings. I’d recommend the mussels.

For starters, it's the vibe, extended flamboyantly by Chef Ricardo and his eclectic cuisine from Italy, France and Spain. The Pork Ribs are beyond delicious with the meat simply and smoothly peeling off the bone. The cured meats, cheese, pizzas, the bustling grocery store that rolls Italian products. You get the drift. Go see it for yourself.

I love coming here and it's all because of the food. This place serves basic and fuss free Italian fare! The dishes are delicious and the service is warm and quick. I love it that I can get my porky fix here like great bacon and ham. I have been trying out different dishes each time I pop by and so far, none of them have disappointed me. I love the quaint settings - gives me the feeling of being invited to dine in someone's house (and that someone is a great cook). As expected, the wine selection here is also good. You can also get many other Italian foodstuff here as well - from pasta to prosciuto. Since the restaurant and kitchen is housed in an old bungalow, space can be an issue so they have set up the driveway for additional seating under some well placed canopies for protection from the elements (this is Malaysia after all). Lastly, my only grouse is the limited parking available but that certainly didn't stop everyone as they place is always lively and busy whenever I am there.

Can eat good quality ham and cheese cheaply here. However, I think the clerk has very little knowledge of wine. In my knowledge, the wine was red sparkling, so I checked with the clerk just in case, but clerk said it is white. But when it actually came to the table, it was red sparkling. But even with that in mind, the quality of the food is very good. I would like to visit again.
