โ โ โ โ โ Interesting new venue in Muntri St for authentic Italian fare. They have a small grocer section in the front with imported Italian sundry goods as well as in-house brand antipasti, pasta sauce, a variety of cheese by weight, and deli meats. The seating area is a bit small (one bar and about four tables inside) so making a reservation is encouraged.
Went on a weekend at lunch and it was fairly full. Prices are the usual for this standard of cuisine (on par with Via Pre/Two Frenchies/Emily's) and service is very prompt. They provide bottles of plain water during table service; very appreciated with Penang weather. Seats at the bar are interesting as you can see the food being prepared and cooked right in front of you.
I ordered a salad and a pizza. Pizza quality was good, thin crust but flavourful (I had a plain Margherita). The char was nice, crust had a good crunch. Salad was really well-balanced and had a lot of texture (Insalata Mista). Artichoke hearts were delicate and the dressing wasn't too heavy. Overall, pleasant though a bit small (I'm used to a slightly larger portion of greens).
Ambiance can be a bit noisy because of the small space and if full, can feel cramped. I'd definitely go again to try their Happy Hour promotion (3 glasses at RM60) and to pick up a bottle of balsamic vinegar :)

โ โ โ โ โ I really like the bar, the ambience BUT the only 1 staff made me feel really DISAPPOINTED ever!!! I was ordered Apperol Spritzer which is my favorite drink but I've got a small glass. And Ibsaw other cutomers got regular glass so I asked why my glass was smaller and he said we no need to serve the same glsss!! Seriously!!!??? How the service which dare to judged and treat customer like this!! It's a pity because I plan to invite my friends for dinner here so....no more. Sorry Bottega. Goodbye Mr. LUCA

โ โ โ โ โ We were lucky to get slot in for a spot of 3 ppl without a prior booking thanks to the friendly staffs.
Ordered Burratina, soup of the day, pizza Piadizza, tiramisu and pasta con Pulpette.
Loved the Burratina and pizza Piadizza in particular. Burratina has a wonder blend of taste which was ideal for me though friends thought it was bit tad salty for their taste.
The tiramisu is great too as the taste is lighter compared to others, though it did feel a bit too watery for us.
Price is descent for any italian restaurants, definitely recommended for a visit.

โ โ โ โ โ Overall it was pretty good! We were happy with it. Decent Italian cuisine. Friendly staff. This is how we would rate what we ordered.
Gambas (prawns) : 4/5 (pretty good and flavourful)
Burratina : 3.5/5 (itโs not bad but I have had better ones elsewhere)
Picaminosa pizza : 5/5 (love this!)
Tiramisu : 3/5 (would prefer it to be more creamy, there were times I scooped up only the sponge without much mascarpone cheese)
I also like that you can see the menu and food pictures and make your order via the app, very organised.
Oh yeah, the place could be a bit warm and I can imagine it would be even warmer during the day like what other reviewers mentioned. I had to tie up my hair half way eating because I started to sweat lolllโฆ So prolly a better idea to visit in the evening before they install a new aircond haha!
BUT! Well, as expected, parking could be really hard in Georgetown. We turned 3 rounds before managed to find one.
Yeah I think we will go back and try other pizzas next time!

โ โ โ โ โ Lovely place for a few drinks & tapas. They have a nice selection of quality wines at reasonable prices. The food and service were both very good, and the imported grocery prices were also reasonable. Personally, I preferred the pesto & olives over the pizza. Would def go back.
