Must have breakfast every time I visit Georgetown. Reasonable price and always taste good ! Located just opposite the Sia Boey Urban Archaeological Park, can have a stroll in the park and watch koi fish swimming after breakfast.

One of the best prawn noodle in town, the soup is not heavy but the taste is superb. The soup is made out of flavourful prawn head, so be ready to be amazed.

Not really a fan of prawn mee so not much to compared with. This prawn mee here is basic - small slice of egg, few small prawns, few pork slices, bean sprouts & fried shallots. The broth is mild not too heavy, clear taste soup and I like it that way as it has fresh sweetness. Apparently you can add pork ribs to the prawn mee but we had ours plain to try the original taste. Place is next to a busy road. Not many tables. Be prepared for the hot humid weather outside. Price still considered cheap at Rm4.50 per bowl.

Add pork intestines if you like internal organs. The intestines are flavourful, probably premarinated.

Pros: can add a lot of side dishes on top (fishballs, pork ribs, meatballs etc) Cons: the soup is quite tasteless if you don't add the chilli, garlic and soy sauce It's ok but not the top 10 best Hokkien Mee in Penang or anything

Ordered the small prawn noodle mixed with beehoon Rm5, the broth is quite mild and there wasn't much ingredients in a serving, slightly disappointed but I'd still recommend those who are keen to try, you may appreciate it more than I do, cheers!

The soup base is fragrant, heavy on the pork taste, less so on the prawn. Not much ingredients in a basic bowl, but one could add-on for average an extra buck (which could rack up quite an amount). Friendly service, but price is on the high side for Penang's standard. Come early to avoid the crowd/heat.

Recommended by fellow penangites to taste the penang hokkien mee aka prawn mee. I chose to taste the ori prawn soup while my family choose the loh mee and mixed soup. Overall I recommend the ori prawn soup. Can add on the shrimps for better taste. Total bill was around RM30 for 4 bowls of noodles (small) 1 add on of pai gu, 1 addon of shrimp, 1 add-on intestines, 1cup of ice lemon, 1 cup of teh and 1 cup of dou kou.
