★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really loved how my lashes turned out. My lash tech was Naomi who was recommended by a good friend of mine who does her lashes with her as well. I got the desired look of long wispy lashes and it turned out so well and I got so many compliments after.
Naomi was really professional. She definitely knew what she was doing. I even had a mini nap during my appointment too.
Will definitely be returning. So thankful that the Ampang open is now open because it's so close to my house compared to the other outlets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service and friendly but knowledgeable staff. I booked a last minute appointment yesterday due to my packed vacation schedule and the staff tried their best to accomodate. Tried classic underarms and brazilian. The staff advised me on which wax to choose (soft or hard wax) based on customer's experience on waxing. Love the result ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UPDATE: BGW Customer Service contacted me and made restitution, they will be taking actions against the aesthetician. I really appreciate Ms Wendy for being so understanding about the situation and will provide me BGW products from the scarring I got from the infection upon my next visit. Albeit this wasn't the best experience with Ampang, I still encourage all my friends to try out BGW because they take accountability and actually walk the talk. Can't wait to visit other branches soon!

I visited Bubblegum Wax Ampang about a month ago. I have previously gone to the Damansara branch and I loved their service and their aesthetician that serviced me. The receptionist in Ampang was very friendly, however that was the only good thing about my visit.
I decided to do a Bikini Wax, Under Arm and Half Leg. The first one done rushed and she noted I had a rash due to my regular wear of panty liners. That being said, I'm all for the advice however it felt as if she chastised me for using disposable sanitary products. The second was alright, no qualms on that, however an issue arose with my half leg waxing.
Two main issues were: it was not done cleanly and secondly, I experienced multiple pimply bumps on my legs 2 days after my wax and one bump became infected. I have waxed my legs at many different places in the past and opted for Bubblegum wax for its hygiene. As such, I was shocked to have seen so many bumps and my knees were not waxed at all. Tiny hairs still visible on my legs. When I went to Damansara, my aesthetician was meticulous enough to use a tweezer to go through every tiny hair but this aesthetician seem pressed for time. (somewhat the same problems as user harrisa haris)
When I messaged Ampang about the infection, they asked me to return back to allow their 'therapist' to review the situation but obviously I was not about to travel there when my leg was so swollen it hurt to walk. I will not be returning back to Ampang but I will be bringing my patronage to the other outlets. I hope the main company does something about this asap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here once to try out brazilian waxing. I'm sorry to say this but I don't think I would return here for the 2nd time. Maybe it's just my luck or idk but i've seen good reviews from others which is why i decided to give it a try here.
However, my experience here was a complete nightmare for me. I was a 1st timer, and was hoping that the staff would at least brief me about it. just a short one would do as in how hot the wax would be, which part could be more sensitive so i could be prepared mentally and physically. It was done so quick that i didn't even get the chance to check the quality of her work. It feels as if she just wanted to get her job done asap and get over with it. Also, i still have short hairs and wax leftover which i only realised the moment i reached home. I was informed by other waxing regulars (friends who done waxing too but different outlet/brands) that if you have short hair they would either plucked or thread it but nope that's not the case of mine.
I really hope the treatment wasn't gave to me just because i've selected the first timer promo because seriously it was a 1st time waxing experience for me. Just because a customer pay less due to promotion package that you offer , doesn't mean they should receive less treatment. 1st timers are the one you guys should impress so we would go back for our next appointments.
Moving forward, please be more gentle and hospitable towards your customer regardless they are new, or regulars, pretty or not, celeb or commoners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service here with the therapists is not bad, clean and fast. But what I do not understand is, why does it take them so long to reply an appointment request? I texted them at 8am, get a reply at 2pm informing me my preferred therapist wasn’t available, to which I replied instantly, and the next reply was at 9pm. Never ised to be this bad, guess they have a new person at the counter. Come on la, u guys have got to improve on your customer service.
