★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The environment over here is really good and peaceful but there's some imperfections. As Bukit Lanjan is a disturbed and secondary forest (abondoned rubber plantation, large trees with buttress roots is an exception here) , there is a lot of mosquitoes (plantations and logging destroys the stratified layers of the rainforest, chasing out mosquitoes that previously inhabited these micro habitats) Don't expect mosquito repellent will help you , those mosquitoes will still chase you . And this hike is not really recommended for hiking beginners and children because some of the trails are slipery especially raining season and require climbing some nearly vertical slopes.Some of the trail is unclear due to overgrowth vegetation.For the tree species overhere , most of the big trees overhere is rubber tree , I hardly saw any native Malaysian forest trees such as Dipterocarp or Shorea trees species(there is , but rare) . This hiking trail is best suited for hikers who have good body stamina and coordination, trailblazers and venturers. The most importantly , ALWAYS BRING A BRAVE HEART.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A few trailheads with one uncharted trail from Serestra. The trailhead from Damansara Perdana is off limits with razor barbed wires. This hike is not for beginners but trailblazers, Hashers and adventurers because of thorny palms, mosquitos, overgrowth which makes the beaten trail undetectable until the next trailblazers cleared the path again.
