★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The "kopi si kaw" (strong coffee with evaporate milk) is one of the best in town. The hokkien mee is also highly recommended as you can seldom find stall that has kangkung anymore. Even if they do, you would probably get a stem or 2 but this stall is really generous. The soup also taste awesome. The coffee shop is pretty cramp but that's normal for places like this

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small cafe which had drinks and only 4 kind of food. But those are the best kind of food you would want to kick start your day.
There are Hokkien Mee (Prawn based broth noodles) sold by a lady. She know how to make a perfect al dente noodles and that broth. OH MY GOD, it is so flavourful with the prawn essence and it not fishy either. I had something similar in Moscow, Russia where they served the best Japanese seafood ramen and those cost 15 USD a bowl. This lady sell it for 1 USD only. I could have it every day without burning my wallet. Haha
The cafe also sell wantan mee (noodles with thick soy sauce and sesame oil; top with slices of honey glazed roast pork and pork dumplings).
They also served noodles with your own choice of fresh ingredient like meatballs, chicken liver, minced pork and egg.
Be sure to ask for some nice home brewed iced coffee to pair with your meal. Place are a little hot since it not air conditioned and a little dirty but hey you can order takeaway if you prefer to enjoy them at home. Be sure to come try them if you are ever in the neighbourhood. ?
