If anyone introduce the room 11-08 to you, please run away ASAP!!! This room is full of cockroach and I deposited almost RM7000 then haven't get back any penny yet!!! It's horrible and the hostess is a pure devil. When I tried to reach the hostess, I found she already blocked me, what the hell!!!

The maintenance fees and the penalty for clamping is increasing.. but maintenance repair being ignored. Just leeching on the owner and tenant money. Clamping cost you RM100 and non-negotiable. They will clamp without informing even it is an emergency situation without obstruction to any traffic

We hired two room apartments. After arriving had to wait outside the guard house with our luggage. No one relieved us even after showing documents to guard room. People there unfriendly. Finally a guy with t shirt n short came n took us in. He doesn't know the room with the key belongs to. We suppose to stay at a studio apartment till 2pm. The studio apartment is horrible. Finally at two we moved to the apartment we supposed to stay. It's spacious. Cupboards don't have glass on it's door. Water leaking at toilet. TVs in the apartment not usable. All local channels. Can't even use our own HDD on tv. They say free internet. But we couldn't get it. Asked for help but the guy didn't come. I don't recommend staying here unless you are ready to face dissatisfaction.

I had rented from Alan Liew (at Casa Mutiara Serviced Apartments), twice before my recent visit. I reserved a specific apartment, proposed by Alan, when he informed me the unit I usually visit, was being sold. I paid in full, 4 months prior to my arrival (through Airbnb), and reconfirmed the details, including the unit, in which I was planning to stay. Alan confirmed the details in response. On my arrival day, while I was in transit from outside Malaysia, Alan sent a message telling me, he would be unavailable throughout the duration of my stay and that one of his employees would be showing me a different apartment (from that which I had reserved). I attempted to reconfirm the specific details of my reservation, and Alan did not answer my questions in his response. When I arrived at Casa Mutiara, one of his employees took me to a very small apartment, half the size of the one I had reserved and paid for. The employee also informed me that the apartment which had reserved had in fact been rented to another group, who were staying for an extended stay. It turned out that Alan had accepted my reservation, and then proceeded to rent out the apartment, which I had reserved to another group, because they were staying for a longer period. This had happened well in advance of my visit, however, Alan never mentioned this fact, in our correspondence in the days leading up to my arrival. He in fact, had no apartment available for my visit, as even the small unit, I was shown, was rented to another party, two days later. I was placed in another apartment, for a period of two nights, while Alan attempted to find another place for me to stay. I had to vacate that apartment, after two nights, as another group was arriving in the unit, that afternoon. In the meantime, I was placed in a small room, to wait with my belongings until an apartment in another building became available. Throughout this entire ordeal, Alan has failed to admit to ignoring the fact that I had long before reserved a specific apartment, at his urging, and then deliberating renting it to someone else, in order to make a greater profit. He had little concern for my well being and comfort, and has failed to take responsibility for his behavior and its effects! I am in the process of filing complaints with the Malaysian authorities, in the hope that he will no longer be able to take advantage of unsuspecting visitors. I advise anyone planning to visit Kuala Lumpur, to look elsewhere for accommodation, lest you be another of Alan's victims!

My 2 cents as a "Casa" long term resident/owner, not as a "short-stay guest" Updating for 2021! It is extremely convenient to get to the CBD and Bukit Bintang Shopping district. (ONLY TAKES around 5-7 minutes for me to get to the office near Pavillion once I get on my folding bicycle after exiting the guard house entrance / exit, previous job took me 3 mins to get to office) A laundry, convenience store are on premises. 24 hr 'Mamak' Indian restaurant next door. The Jalan Alor food paradise is about a 10 minute walk away. The Plaza Rakyat project next door is being revived. Bukit Bintang City Center close is completed and ready to open.. PNB118/Warisan Merdeka and its iconic tower is topped up and should be ready next year. Covid Restrictions have reduced number of short term Residents ( previously now about 50 percent international college students or professionals for long term stay (6 to 12 months+), and AirBnB or OYO guests. Looking forward to having guests back . Casa Mutiara is currently still the most affordable location in the Bukit Bintang / KLCC / Bukit Ceylon area, with studio apartment rentals now around RM1.2K monthly but will rise once Covid restrictions are lifted. More Locals seem to be renting - not fighting traffic to work while staying in the suburbs. (Am one of the few locals staying in the city center proper in Casa) Conversely, our 7 floors of parking still remain relatively empty, my car still remaining very unused. Residents renting would rather park outside in-front the apartment rather than pay extra to rent a space, but with the new Robertson Shopping Center behind Casa, DBKL City hall has been more aggressive in ticketing cars outside if parked haphazardly. I am hearing of casa management team also having to ticket cars parked that way too. Hoping that once everything reopens, Students will continue to prefer staying at Casa because for shopping, entertainment, and social life opportunities, taking the LRT to the suburbs (Cheras. .etc) where the colleges are located. The Hang Tuah monorail and light rail transit station is nearby (about 300 m), and completed MRT (Blue line) station at Warisan Merdeka / PNB Tower (still under construction) The premises are quite clean and taken care off as it become more mature. Building was repainted 4 years ago with same light purple paint, which still totally distinctive. Mr. Lim still runs the laundry / convenience shop and now is Chairman of the Residents Joint Management Body and Mr Singh runs the Casa Mutiara Management Office. Security wise, key cards are required for entry/exit and also to activate the elevators and the on-site security guards do their work to ensure proper registration of visitors/non-residents. Casa is also close by to the KL Police Contingent HQ and you do see on and off-duty officers at the Mamak store at all times of the day and night. I do feel safer as I think they do deter any petty crime by their presence. All in all, quite happy with staying in Casa for 9(!) years now.
