★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Few places in town serve pork ribs this good. If you are a pork lover, I highly recommend this place (if you have not already know of it). Service: friendly and good. Place: clean. Since it is nested within a residential area, parking spot maybe limited but there is usually room by the road side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An one of a kind experience, perfect in every single categories, a rare encounter that you would expect from the internet. Humble looking from the outside, but filled with human touches within, I can't imagine anything much better than its already impressive dishes, wonderful and friendly services, a comfortable ambient almost feel like home. Splendid dishes by the way, which the crown would go to the spare ribs (didn't went for the signature LOTR with only 2 person), the succulent pork was so flavorful even without any sauces. My first taste of an unique hollow pasta with this elegantly done aglio olio, which made my visit tremendously satisfied with a surprising dessert in its special peach cobbler. Definitely a diamond in the rough that worth multiple patronizing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casual place to have plenty of pork. The pork belly with chutney is divine. So fatty yet so good. The salad kerabu perfect. Mussels with white sauce is also good, with bread to mop up the generous sauce. Also try the Jamaican chicken with grilled plantain. Friendly owner.

The ribs were cooked well, albeit a little salty. The Sicilian styled meatballs with pasta was tasty and finally the cendol (drowned ice cream in the menu) is a definite must-try with a perfect balance of flavors.

Corkage of Rm10 was very reasonable. Maybe I'll drop by again in the distant future ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Checkers one of the best kept secret in the secluded area of Bukit Damansara which had stood the test of time as had been in operation almost 18 years or more.This itself its a testimony which had proven through serving good quality dishes which their regulars and new diners can attest to it. Homely small little cosy restaurant. Its run by a moody owner and 1 helper, simple menu. If you can stand the owner attitude, you are in for the best dining experience. This i was lucky to savor the owner’s off menu dishes which was yummylicious.Save room for the heavenly dessert porky’s wild ice-cream with rum.
