Noodles, I don't really like the chicken soup one.
Alcohol, this shop is cute - they serve small bottles of bai jiu etc. I must say it's a good serving size... can get a good two to three tipsy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pork tastes not fresh, dry and hard. The only dish acceptable is 辣子鸡 & lamb. Steam fish tastes so so… the taste is not on par with the restaurant name ? Would definitely recommend lucky cuisine in PJ instead, so far it’s the second best apart from 粗茶淡饭 PJ which was closed down. ? ambience wise is ok. Price is above average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally, I managed to try this restaurant because it is always full house. Their primary speciality is Sichuan grilled fish and bbq meat. As the crowd indicated, the food was spectacular. The day's dish has to be the Chengdu hot & sour noodles and grilled fish. The food was numbingly spicy to the point of burning lips and leaky nose but yet so appetising. The Service was prompt and good. Overall a very pleasant meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The attendant repeat my order yet still make mistake. Beer took so long to serve. The 水煮牛 is flavorful and beef is tender. The 手撕包菜 cabbage is disappointing and serve in a pot with one handle missing. Food is big portion. Don’t think I will visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a lunch over weekend. Quite a crowd, notice lots of china people here. If you really love china spicy food type (those mala feel) with really strong taste, definitely you should visit here. Services are fast, staff are attentive.variety of dishes available. The bbq meat was nice and really spicy too. Interesting food display. Love the shrimp with vermicelli which was served in the hotstove. Recommended! The only drawback was perhaps, can include english in the receipt as not everyone could read chinese. Not recommended for those that cannot tolerate spicy food/mala/weak bowel or those who prefer plain food or else you will end up frequent the toilet! A place that kills your tastebud!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is good in general. The food portion are huge so it's more suitable for larger groups - can't order much variety for 2 people. The ones I ordered kind of tasted similar. The service is good and the ambience is quite nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fish soup in a wooden pot was the star - it was sour umami and spicy - so good! The chilli chicken was tasty and not oily. In general the food portions are big and generous, worth a visit! The crayfish was not worth getting your hands dirty.
