★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I try TTDI coffee shops while waiting for my son’s class on every Sunday morning. This time I came to Craft Origin. I walked by here before but didn’t know they have a comfortable sitting area inside. I like my coffee and we tried two cakes. Both fresh and really flavorful. Recommend ??

It's no secret that I love my caffeines. Cafe hopping used to be my favourite weekend pastime from my dating days until having a family of five. From a messy list, I have now refined the list based on area complete with checkbox.
In TTDI, there is no short of nice cafes - both visible and hidden ones - in every nook & corner that you go. Craft Origin is definitely going to get your attention with their bright yellow colour facade. Coffee bean roaster machine means that they mean business. On the inside the interior was kept simple but the main draw would be their coffee & food.
◾Single origin coffee bean and in my case, Honduras Marcala La Paz which was served in teaware-like pot and cup. It gave me the Japanese tea drinking feel.. but with coffee of course.
◾Latte was above average.
◾Cakes - burnt cheesecake was good.
The barista and service team were a friendly lot and would try to answer every question thrown at them. The cafe has a good vibe making it a good place to chill with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Craft Origin. Consistently good coffee, friendly/fast service and occasionally you get the cutest messages and drawings on the coffee cup. They’ve also been really consistent and communicative throughout this pandemic, which I appreciate. Keep up the great work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute ground floor cafe in TTDI (one of seemingly countless in the area) not far from the one utama crossroads. Well presented place big enough but not too big with some varying seating options including a couple of comfortable looking sofas. I liked the big coffee machine in the entrance area which was being used when I went. The coffee I had was excellent - very smooth and well made by the barista. Cost is on par with the area and quality around 10-15rm per drink depending on what you order.
Though I'm sure I will return for food esp cake with my wife I didn't have any today but they looked good. The other food I'm not sure but there was quite a few reasonably priced options across asian and western cuisine. Parking can be a challenge round there even outside peak times though I was actually lucky enough to get a space very close by so lucky me I guess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! They offered the best coffee and showed the best attitude to its costumers. This place is indeed perfect for reading and chilling out. It was very quiet, not many people (I came on Sunday around 12-2) and air-conditioned. Since I used to hang out at Brew & Bread, Common Man etc, I think just want to keep coming back to this place because of the serenity, cozy and less people (I hope it stays like that but well, it might not good for their business haha)

We ordered the chicken pesto pasta. Highly recommended. Blueberry cheesecake is okay. The cookie can be improved.

We ordered artisanal coffee. Just tell them your preference (nutty, fruity, strong etc) and they will make one for you (I'm not that particular on the beans & process, but you can ask them in details if you want). Of course, they meet my expectation and it was fresh & smoother. The salted caramel latte was great too!
Ambience: 5/5
Love the soothing music sound and the minimalist design.
Service: 5/5

Prices are alright, quite fitting for the food presented. Tried their salted egg rice today and it was pretty good.
Would definitely come back to try out their other food options as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family of six had a very satisfying snack/meal here recently. Tasty mains with fresh ingredients, good portions and nice coffee and juices. Clean, modern cafe along with attentive, helpful staff and okay parking availability at night.
Our table which was almost to the back could not really feel the AC but the other parts of the cafe felt cool. Do expect high end cafe pricing but great experience overall. Recommended.
