★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love learning to sew here. Kalpana is amazing at teaching with great patience and I don’t feel embarrassed to ask questions repeatedly as she explains patiently. There’s also room for casual chit chat which makes D Sew nice & comfortable with opportunities to make new friends! I have a new appreciation for those who sew too !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had wanted to sew for years but just didn't have the skill. Kalpana taught me and I really felt the benefit of her calm, patient manner and impressive expertise. Even though Kalpana has been at the top of her profession in the fashion industry, she has a way of teaching even the most beginning of students that is motivating and enjoyable. There is nothing this woman doesn't know when it comes to creating garments. Although I was a beginner, I've seen fashion graduates in the class amazed at what they're learning. Added to that, she is a lovely person and fun to work with. You won't believe what you can do under her guidance. Highly recommended. Whatever your level, Kalpana will take you higher!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. D Sew Club is a lovely studio, and Kalpana is one of the best teachers I've had. She is knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly supportive of her students' work. I've gone from zero drafting and sewing skills, to sewing a perfectly fitted blouse in just a few sessions.
It is always a pleasure attending classes here. Kalpana is a talented fashion designer who is genuinely interested in her students' happiness and success. Whether you are a newbie like me, or looking to hone your skills - D Sew Club is where you will shine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its been lovely 2 months with Kalpana learning and mastering the art of dressmaking… i came with zero knowledge and kalpana has really worked hard on me and helping me with all my challenges… she is always ready to answer all ur silly queries and help u with all the tricks to sew a perfect outfit… so far i have made a skirt and a dress and am looking forward to the rest of the course making new projects… she is very patient and handson ..! As a person Kalpana is extremely friendly, approachable and patient. She is definitly a brilliant teacher and i would 100% recommend her classes if anyone wants to learn sewing..! She is more like a friend then a teacher which has really helped me pursue my interest in sewing in this new country..! Lastly she has some really good taste in music for sure which really helps me through my 4 hour classes ?iam glad i found Kalpana and DSewClub ..!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came into this course 4 months ago with almost zero knowledge of clothes making and with the help of Kalpana I can proudly say that I've nearly mastered this art. She was very inclusive and patient while teaching, never letting anyone in the class feel left behind no matter their pace. The one thing I really enjoyed about this class was the approach she took in teaching us. Although everything was new and seemed complicated, she had this way of teaching and guiding us on how to navigate our way in the world of sewing without feeling too overwhelmed. I thoroughly enjoyed this course, it really proved that with the right teacher, age is never the barrier to learning a new set of skills. Kalpana is a very supportive, and patient teacher in this industry. and I am really lucky to have started my journey in sewing with her. With this, I wish her all the best with her next batch of students, I will definitely miss these classes and I am forever thankful for the knowledge and techniques I have learnt throughout this course.
