★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tau fu fah is easily one of the best you can get in KL. The texture is really silky and smooth, so that's really nice.
I also like it that they have tau fu fah with sesame paste, something that you can't find elsewhere. Soy Milk is so so to me, and I don't buy from them because they're already prepacked in advance and has sugar added as I normally drink unsweetened soy milk. Their soy ice cream is nice too.
Overall, I'd buy from them and would recommend them. Don't expect this to be an artisan chill cafe. It's a place to get quality tau fu fah, period.
Edit: I found out that they serve unsweetened soymilk now, so yay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FOOD // I am lactose intolerant so this place is H E A V E N. Soft serve is really good, even without the toppings. We've tried the ice shavings and also the matcha and black sesame soy milks. All were delightful. They even have non-sugar options.
AMBIENCE // Dao sports a rustic feel with the old charm of the 60s. You will be sitting in some cool rattan chairs and be greeted with murals of your favourite tofufah uncle riding on his bicycle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of my favorite places for a somewhat healthy desert. My go to choices are their Soy soft serve and the Ginger Tau Fu Fah. the Soil milk does not come cheap, but it's thick and so fragrant! the ginger sauce for the Tau Fu Fah is so strong, I believe it can kill any virus (it's a metaphor ) it's quality food.

I've been eating Dao once a week and it has become a little habit ?
The texture of their taufufah alone can easily outmatch a lot of other commercial beancurd stores. They're like the OG of commercialised taufufah.
My favourite one would be the chrysanthemum syrup with Osmanthus jelly. It's by far the best addition to the menu.
The toppings are quite average. The tong yuen always disappoints me. It does not taste like tong yuen at all. In fact, it needs an upgrade ?
I like the ice cream, it has a strong soy taste though I wish it can be less sweet
I like their soymilk too, and I love the fact that you can choose between a sweetened or a non-sweetened one.
I'd avoid their dao bing unless you're a big fan of shaved ice. Overall, there's nothing special about them.
The staff are very experienced. They're good, friendly and fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good taufufa shop in a comfortable setting. So basically u will need to queue to order before getting a table which i thought it was kinda odd especially sometimes it can get pretty crowded here.
U can opt for ginger, brown or white sugar for ur taufafa and i personally enjoyed their ginger sugar taufufa.
