★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I somehow found the Portuguese food pretty similar to Asian food. Not sure if that’s because it’s the mixture between the real Portuguese and Malaysian..? I liked the food. Kevin loves seafood in general so he’s just so into it this time.
All the food we had was delicious and well-cooked. One of the nice decent meals we had in Malaysia but not gonna lie here, I don’t think I would come again here just for its food. It’s delicious but nothing special.
Though, if you’re not a Thai / Asian person who are used to these types of food, I would still recommend this place a lot to all of you. It’s a real nice switch from all the Chinese/Malaysian food in Malacca. Oh, talking about that, the epic Nyonya Cuisine we had the other day was so dang good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place does not look like much and simple looking but is a hidden treasure waiting to be rediscovered every time. Devil/ Devil Curry, Mayonaise Crab and Brinjal are my favourites. Will highly recommend to anyone wanting to taste good and authentic Portuguese Eurasian cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, friendly owner. Their fried eggplant might seems over fried, but taste great! Well seasoned, and juicy inside. The baked fish is fresh and great flavor. And I like their prawn satay, not something you can find in average satay store.
Recommended.

We had the Portuguese Baked Fish, Brinjal and Sambal Sotong, all had a very home cooked, not overly seasoned and flavourful taste. Come here to taste the old skool taste of Portuguese Malacca cuisine. Very near Malacca town, easy to get parking.

But ensure you come early or at the right time, as it will be crowded!
We were there at 1:20pm, boss just back from daily purchase.
Luckily managed to grab late lunch before the crowds gathered!
Recommended: Pineapple Prawn curry! Brinjal (Must order)! Otak Otak great too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home style cook seafood, most of the dishes are tasty. I have ordered grill fish, garlic butter prawn, kangkung, fry brinjal, curry chicken, asam sotong & fry chicken. It cost RM 235. When crowded, they are short handed, only 2 staffs helping the boss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our favorite restaurant at this Portuguese settlement - more than 40 year old and still going strong with regular customers! They stand out as unlike other operators, they do not coax potential customers to dine at this restaurant as they are well established for years and famous for their dishes! The serve typical local Portuguese cuisine with unique recipes and ways of cooking. For examples, the way they bake brinjal slices with pepper is amazingly good although it was a bit dry to me without any saice, their special curry chicken (Devil’s Curry) is sumptuously tasty, their prawn cooked with creamy garlic sauce was excellent, and their fried mushroom was tastily crispy! Worth mentioning is their bbq curry fish wrapped with banana leaf - it was mouth watering good! The owner speaks in good English as well as Mandarin which was a surprise to usurp family. Give it a try when you are visiting this historical city of Melaka!
