β β β β β Great food. Loved the Asam Fish! We tried Asam Fish, Fried Mushroom, Sambal Squid, Signature Brinjal Dish and Kailan. Medium sized dishes were more than sufficient for 2pax. Prices were very reasonable as well. Must try when in Melaka

β β β β β A little restaurant almost at the entrance of the row of restaurants at the Portuguese Square food court.
The Baked Otak-Otak was really interesting and I'm glad i tried it.
The Commando Chips which were dressed with onion bits and fried Anchovies were good too.
Oops before i forget the Kailan in garlic sauce was good, we had 3 plates of that.

β β β β β Visited during raya day 2.. The shop was not even open, but people willing to sit and wait for hours including us.. Tbh, the food was worth the wait.. The baked fish was so good and the buttermilk prawn was finger licking good.. I am willing travel from Pahang to Melaka just to have this food.. ??

Waited for 2 hours for the food to arrive, although the restaurant is not packed.
Food quality has dropped significantly.
Price may not be expensive but will not recommend to friends.

β β β β β We had pineapple curry prawns, asam squid rings and their signature fried eggplant. All were very tasty. Friendly owner and food were home-cooked by the daughter nowadays.

β β β β β One of the best discoveries in melaka. Largely empty when we went for a late lunch, the owners are friendly and accommodating. What seemed like simple food packed a punch. The watermelon juice was a whole watermelon blended and put back into the shell for rm10, enough for 2 people to share.
The sambal squid was delicious as was the baked otak which finished quickly along with the brinjal that looked plain but was very yummy...charred to perfection.
Ambience is simple, the sea can be seen from a distance but the area is generally quiet. Worth a stop. Prices very reasonable as well.

β β β β β I enjoyed dining there very much. Albert was attentive. The butter garlic clams are so unforgettable, it was creamy with all the fried garlic. The BBQ fish, sambal prawn, brinjal are all very nice. The spices are all just well balanced. Though the price is on the high side but it's worth to give it a try. It's a tourist site anyway. Enjoy the sea view, the nice food, chilling beer, nice atmosphere, breeze, hot sun... ?
