β β β β β The deer park was nice enough to walk around and the flow goes beautifully with the rest of the park. It was a bit odd having chickens around the area. The area with the deer was OK, but the deer seemed a bit over heated.

β β β β β It's a decent place but only few deers around. Other than that we can also see few hen and rabbits in cage. If you are visiting lake garden then there is a rear entrance to deer park and it makes more sense to visit deer park and lake garden together. Decent place for young kids as it is free entrance but not much to do

The Kuala Lumpur Deer Park is an area inside the Perdana Botanical Garden. When I visited, only the enclosure viewable from a distance was open. Even that was partly shut as the bridge that is closest to the ground level was blocked off. From a distance, I counted less than 10 deer in total. So if youβre a deer lover, then prepared to be disappointed if you were expecting a close up view.
The grounds are nice, full of lush forested greenery and landscape. The enclosure was mostly grass with shade, but encompassing a far smaller area than the whole deer park. The deer park is worth a detour if youβre already visiting the botanical garden, but I wouldnβt go out of the way otherwise. Fortunately I didn't see any of the deer suffering or mistreated as some of the reviews suggested otherwise I'd been really angry.
As other reviewers have commented, the deer park also has enclosures with various domestic chickens for some reason.

β β β β β Open at 9 am, manned by friendly and knowledgeable staffs. Good collection of birds, though more species of bird of prey would be nice.
At the time of visit, no water in the toilet, maintenance of the place could be improved. Food and beverages are also very pricey.

β β β β β 2nd time coming. Last time was more than 10 years ago. Now sad to see the few deers in a small area. Previously they had a bigger space to roam. More attention seem to be placed on the plant and landscaping than the deers. Have some chickens in a pen also.

β β β β β Deer Park located inside Perdana Botanical garden. Its quite hidden but it is near the yellow colour roof open area.
Along the walkway to the deer park, you will see different types of chickens on the side.
Walk up a few stairs, you can see the deers from above the bridge.
The deer park is not big. there's not much things there. Honestly the deers looks pity.
