★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serves really good char siew and siew yok rice! There are a lot of varieties of noodles here for selection, and one of the more unique choices here is seafood noodle. Also serves 'tai chao' like char kuey teow and fried rice, also dishes like fish, meat, fried vegetables and those alike. No-frills environment and plenty of choices on offer here makes this a great place for family and groups, and those individuals won't get bored too.

Roast (charsiew, siewyuk,siewngap, etc) is good, rice is fragrant.
Prawn mee needs more improvement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the wanton mee here which is average at best. Sauce a bit salty. Char siew is hard and normal. Wanton very salty fillings. Place is comfortable though with aircon inside and outdoor seating. Besides noodles and roasted meat, the place also have regular tai chow dishes but is off on Wed. Nothing special only for those who is hungry and need a quick meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go-to restaurant when I don't know what to eat. Offers a great range of chicken rice, noodles, toasts and siu chao. Has biscuits and nangka for sale at times too. One of the best white chicken around Connaught. Price is very reasonable. Business seems affected by the new restaurant beside.
