It was a place with its unique ambience definitely, to a point you don't feel like you're in Malaysia anymore. From the design, layout to the way the staff were dressed. Very much a stylish and young vibes. Food was really good, we had both hot and cold pastries and they were delicious. Pistachios rose was a surprise. They are selling their merchandises as well, including tote bag, peanuts, coffee beans etc. The lost star is due to a slight overpriced matters, in my opinion. Try to avoid weekend as they have limited seats.

Been here 3 times throughout 1 year. Simply the best! Expect waiting or come very early. There's usually a line the moment they open. Coffee is great - always extracted perfectly every time I visited so you know they have great baristas taking a lot of care into what they do. Ran by a group of young people, really proud to see the cafe being ran very well - but occasionally you get a bit of the tired look la lol (if you guys read this dont forget to smile more!) It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Good selection of pastries, all made very well. Of all the lists on google, i have no idea why this is not on the top - if you love coffee. Your journey is not complete without trying doudoubakes

Amongst the sprouting cafes and pastry shops in town, dou dou bake definitely stands among the best. Popular from its first opening, its pastries do live up to expectations. Came here on 2 visits and tried their almond croissant, croque madame, mushroom danish and pistachio escargot. All were perfectly executed with flaky, buttery pastry and taste was on point, especially the savory ones which had perfect balance between salty (ham/egg) and sweet (pastry itself). Even their desserts (chocolate tart) had great tart texture with a rich, but not overwhelmingly sweet taste. Breakfast platter is served with fresh, quality ingredients. Not to mention their coffees which are equally good. The space itself - raw but inviting, is a place that’s instagrammable in every way. Those huge wall to wall windows overlooking the landscape brings natural light in and a sense of peace to those looking out. One of the best cafes I’ve been to with consistently good execution.

Very nice cream puffs, and especially the one with matcha. The turkey ham croissant and the plain croissant are nice and decent seize considering the price is on the high end. Although they were busy, they were quite attending and ensure to allocate time to brew my Ethiopian coffee along with talking me through what I was about to experience.

Honestly deserves way more than the 3.8 they have currently. The ambiance is wonderful, staff are efficient and polite, and the food is delicious. The Mango Danish - recommended to me by the cashier, was definitely a highlight: juicy, sweet and FRESH mango cubes, deliciously satisfying coconut cream, a rice puree for some extra texture, all cocooned by that buttery, crunchy, flaky pastry! I'm already hungry again.

Heard of this place when I search online for best cafes in KL. It did not disappoint! We came on a Monday and was lucky that we do not need to wait. Unlike the couple behind us. The pastries, bread/ breakfast and lattes are awesome! The service is a tad slow but friendly and and understanding to our children. It has a Japan zen vibe. I will definitely come back again. Thing to note. The path to the restroom is unsheltered.

Wanted to dine in. The que is long. The place is neat with a view. The seating are close to each other and can be quite noisy when packed. Better go for take away. Good variety of specialty coffee and great pastry. The sourdough croissant is light and flaky. The best one I had. In my opinion, it is better than the one at wild yeast even though it is still very good. Can't say the same for croquet madame and but liked the lemon tart. The cookies are great. Not too sweet. More cafes serving sourdough bread and pastry. It is better and healthier choice of gluten. A taste that can be developed and loving sourdough. Give a try

First of all, the pastries they serve are awesome! Freshly baked, various selections. Coffees are amazing. Had the cold brew from Kenya, delicious with flora note and balance. Will come again to try the V60. The only down side is the long wait. Had to wait for thirty minutes because of long waiting list. But good things require patient. Thumbs up!
