★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small cosy pasar malam (night market); you can get fresh fruit and veggies and fresh fish and eggs. No fresh meat. There's a decent selection of food from satay to chee cheong fun, biscuits, breads and snacks, coconut water and fried kuey teow, char tau kuey and assam laksa. The loh hon kuo drink is the best...the Petaling St one can't hold a candle to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A made-shift, open-air night market on every Wednesday on an allocated street of the row of shophouses providing fresh supplies of meat, fish and vegetables for the neighbouring homes. Cosy and airy to walk about. Easy parkings available as most of the shops are closed. We like the Penang asam laksa noodle which tastes authentic with generous toppings of shredded fish. Another popular food is the fried chicken which is crispy on the outside and juicy inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay. Half the size and popularity as it used to be in its prime, but parking is slightly easier now. Fruit, veg, fresh seafood, and food: fried snacks, dim sum, baked white breads, Nasi Lemak, satay, cookies, kuih, laksa, fried kuey teow, Indian muruku, pau, etc.
