★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this audio store, due to my own personal experience. I bought a Fiio BTR3 from E1 October last year. The experience back then was already pleasant, from the friendly salesperson to their hands on policy which means I was able to play with the demo unit to see if it suits my need.
Fast forward to November 2019, the Fiio BTR3 I bought suddenly broke down. Despite trying to troubleshoot via Fiio customer service, the unit itself looks like a total bust. I went back to E1, with the 1 year warranty already exhausted, to see if I can send it for repair. To my pleasant surprise, E1 decided to replace it with a brand new unit after hearing my predicament. Definitely will be buying from them in the future for my audio needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very bad experience when I visited the shop about 1 year ago. The staff was very rude when I asked if I can try high end iems. The malay staff then took out tia fourte, and here I quote what he said "nah, this is high end, 15k, you know, high end!". Yes that's exactly what happened, until I took out my DAP then the staff attitude has changed 180°.
The moral of the story is that please do tell your staff don't judge a book by its cover. Since then I have decided I will not visit or purchase from E1 personal audio because of the staff attitude.
Edit: 2 days later, initially I added a screenshot regarding the respective staff was unhappy about this review and posted a public post on Facebook, but I feel that it could be a little unethical to do so. Still, I would say employee morale and attitude is critical success factor for a business. Really hope he has improved, not turning the gun back to the customer. So far, I don't see any sign of improvement, so I'm having doubts on the reply I got back from the owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place if you are looking to step into high end audio. When I was first looking to buy a pair of earphones, they let me sit in their shop for an hour plus and test earphones to my hearts content till I decided which one I wanted. One year down the road, the pair I bought from them was having some issues and dispite being past the 1 year warranty period they fixed my earphones free of charge.
