Fun night market with a ton of options for food, clothing, fruit and more. Parking is a challenge and so is the traffic getting there, but once there it's not too crowded. Prices are fairly standard for a night market. It's also not overly touristy so you don't feel like you are a walking dollar bill. We got there about 6 15 a few vendors we're still setting up so don't expect to see everything if you get there right at 5 pm for opening.

A lot of nice and cheap food there, worth a visit!

I almost skipped this when planning my itinerary, and luckily I did not. I went to “paya terubong, macallum, batu ferringhi” night markets and none of them is as safe and as plentiful as farlim. The above mentioned other night markets I went to, either was really short and nothing much, or really badly placed as the traffic is really near to the stalls, but farlim was away from traffic, and they have a lot more stores because of the space. Actually most of food stalls are the same (yes the owners move around different night markets) in many of these night markets, but it’s the place that really brings out the feel of the whole night market. One down side is the walkway is just sand, and if it rains, it’s gonna be muddy.

One of the biggest night market in Penang. A variety of stalls are here operating only on Wednesday night. Recommend for food hunter to discover food in this market, from Penang local food (asam laksa, char kuey kat) to dessert and snack (pao, kueh muih, fried vege, fried chicken, chaotaofu) and also many kind of drinks. You won't be disappointed with the choices of food available here. You can find a lot of clothes and phone accessories and many tiny mini stuff. Average people can spend about 45 minutes hanging around this market. Too bad the market is closed if there is raining on Wednesday night. But some of the hawker still operate if the rain is not heavy.

Amazing night market, lots of vendors selling product, it is not only for food. The food options were great since it was mostly different from hawker stalls, however there is a hawker across the street if you still want local food, the taste is very good everywhere in penang. Shops are great too, lots of variety from clothes, to grocery, to electronics,

I loved how bustling this night market was. Full of food, drinks and items on sale. The fairy lights added a nice touch! We had the hokkien prawn mee which was delicious. We also had the char kuih kak which is fried rice cake but it was quite oily. I've had the tofu dessert and sugar cane too and it was amazing (not pictured). One of the best I’ve been to. On a wed night. Some of the stalls are the one from Tuesday night. This might market is very crowded and full of selections
