β β β β β I've had 2 kids at LFKL since 2016 in pre-school and primary and I am super pleased with the school. It's not a perfect school and there are things to improve like in every place, but I have found my kids have always had rockstar teachers which is the most important part to me. The school is clearly not as flashy as the super expensive schools in town but instead prides itself in offering a down-to-earth, quality, value-for money education:
- The school follows the French gov't curriculum, the primary teachers I've been given to work with all were excellent and nourished my kids' appetite for learning and curiosity.
- the school has good facilities - not flashy, but good (2 pools, climbing wall, theater, basketball court, football pitch, 2 libraries,..),
- they have an amazing canteen with a monthly menu designed by a French Chef and also activities for kids (e.g. they learn to bake etc),
- the buses are mini-vans and super reliable which means my kids don't spend an hour picking-up and dropping-up a 50 pax bus, it's a 10-12 pax minibus so 2-3 homes and it's full and ready to go.
- The school trips are not "ski in switzerland" like some flashy schools, but instead it's a week in Cherating or Port Dickson doing LOTS of really fun and educative activities with their school mates. My kids simply love their school which is all I need to be happy :-)
Definitely recommend!

β β β β β I have 3 children at the French School of Kuala Lumpur. The school has two campuses within walking distance of each other. The biggest benefit of the LFKL in my opinion is that kids become fluent in both French and English by default and then still have a wide choice of additional languages to pick from. The French curriculum offered is designed very "meticulously" by the French ministry of education. The teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields.
The LFKL also has really good facilities: 2 swimming pools, a natural turf sports field, two gymnasium, a huge climbing wall, an auditorium, 2 libraries, custom fitted art and music classes, well equipped science and technology labs.
The school is a non-for profit, parent governed school and in my opinion is one of the best value for money deals in Kuala Lumpur. For non-French speaking families, there is a special French language support program to help the children get up to speed.
I personally highly recommend the LFKL.

β β β β β My 2 daughters are at LFKL, and very happy with the school. They joined after having spent 4 years in a local kindergarten. Their english level have not been impacted regardless of lfkl being a french school. The small classes (around 17 kids per class in elementary school) help kids to be very well looked after. They have good facilities too (Gymnasium, climbing wall, football/rugby field, swimming pool).

β β β β β My 3 kids have been going to the LFKL since 2013, starting from Kindergarten all the way up to High School. My husband and I are very happy with the results and the level of teaching. The kids are very happy to go to school. They have a very good level of both French and English.

β β β β β Very good international school in Kuala Lumpur with reasonable fees. The year over year results and placement at university, whether in France or other countries, speak for themselves. Small classes, good focus on the children for their success. Recommended.

β β β β β I have 2 small kids at LFKL, and very happy with the school - 1st kid started 6yrs ago. They joined after having spent 2yrs each in a neighborhood kindergarten before that and have continued progressing their english level regardless of lfkl being a french school. The teachers teams for the small classes are fantastic and kids are very well looked after - classes sizes are small, and from what i've seen through the kids, great educational program/activities/international spirit. Pretty good facilities too and the school management has done some upgrading recently.

β β β β β The French School of Kuala Lumpur offers excellent facilities. It has two campuses within walking distance of each other. It has brand new science and technology labs, a full size natural turf football/rugby field, two swimming pools, two gymnasiums with climbing walls, two libraries, a large auditorium and much more. The teachers deliver a high quality French curriculum and the level of English is also excellent. The kids at the French school are essentially bilingual. I would say it's one of the best deals in Klang Valley.
