β β β β β We rented a car by Galaxy Car Asia. When we picked it up at Penang Airport we asked if it was possible to get to Langkawi because we booked a hotel there. The guy at the counter said it was no problem and that we could go over a toll road to Kuah Perlis to take the ferry there. Unfortunately that was a big lie but we only found out when we had paid for the car and booked and paid the ferry to Langkawi. Suddenly it was no longer possible to take the car to Langkawi because Car Galaxy Asia wouldn't give is the car registration number. So now we have paid for a car +The car ferry for nothing (β¬435). It really ruined our vacation. The organisation is a real scam!!

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY.
Check and double check everything on the contract. Date, contract no. Car plate No. Ensure tank is full.
Down load the speed cam app. DO NOT GET A SPEEDING FINE.
Believe me there will be issues.
Just pay a little extra and stick with the big brands.

β β β β β Was apprehensive about hiring a car in Malaysia. But, we decided to give it a go.
Arrived at KUL and unfortunately, our luggage were left behind and did not arrive. The staff at Asia Galaxy patiently waited for us whilst we try to locate and sort out our delayed luggage.
The MPV we had was new and in extremely mint condition.
The return of the van is very swift and smooth too.
All staff at call centre, arrival and departure were very helpful with directions and handy tips travelling around the area. Frequent communications to ensure everything went smoothly.
Most recommended and will definitely hire with them again. Most definitely a 5 star! BEST car rental company!!

β β β β β Best car rental company in Kuala Lampur. I only rent car from this company at KLIA and they alway give best service and best price. They are very friendly and supportive and do not try to empty your pockets.
I really recommand this car rental company to all travellers to Kuala Lampur. Their cars are alway in best condition and I never had any issue. Their staff make sure to make customer happy and satisfy with their service.

β β β β β Utterly incompetent. Told me my deposit would be back in my account 2 weeks after the rental but a month later I still had nothing. They eventually told me to come in myself to get the cash and when I did, there was nobody here who could deal with me. Utterly incompetent in every way. Hardly the nicest office to be stuck at either!!!

Eventually had my money returned and received an apology so decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and use them again. Disaster! I booked the car for a Christmas vacation to Johor Bahru but when we got there we discovered the accommodation didn't exist and we'd been conned out of our money. We had no choice but to return to KL and the next day I asked if I could return the car after just one day and get a refund for the balance. At least that way I could save a little money from my Christmas catastrophe. They weren't even remotely interested in helping me and showed no sympathy at all for the situation I was in. You'd think that in the circumstances they could show a little compassion and be fair and reasonable but no, that was too much to ask. For a long time they really seemed to struggle to understand what I was saying, which only seems to happen when there's a problem.
Two bookings with them and a complete fiasco both times. From my two experiences with them, I can only conclude that they are largely incompetent and have no consideration for their customers at all. They're not interested in helping you and they're not interested in anything beyond the cash they can get in that moment. Use them at your peril as you'd be better advised to avoid them like the plague.

β β β β β Car condition is good and price is actually reasonable. However, don't expect much flexibility or customer service. My travel plan was changed and the lady (from KL office) ended up telling me their problems instead of giving me solutions ?. In short, I'd call it a "low-cost car rental" if you know what I mean!
