★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious art gallery with two separate exhibition spaces. But they still need to learn curatorship, especially how to arrange the exhibits more effectively. Sometimes they neglected to think about how visitors and audience view the exhibits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took the 7 minute walk here after a nice lunch at The Hanga cafe. Welcoming and friendly little gallery showcasing local artists. It was right before preview night for an auction so they were still putting in proper lighting. Cool, warehouse like industrial space. 2 levels. Clean restroom. Small corner dedicated to merchandise. They were kind and let us borrow their computer to transfer some photos (my SD card was full!) Agree that it could be curated more intentionally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ came here today for the HB Art Auction. Good turnout today - some came just to view the auction, while some had art work for sale, while some came to bid.....while enjoying the food & drinks too! ?.....
lots of art work today! lots of eager bidders too, both in the hall & on the telephone.
a good art gallery with decent space & a/c. HBAA also conducted the auction very well. everyone in the hall maintained physical distancing, wearing mask & had their temp/details taken before entering.
parking is a challenge in this area, you just have to be patient.
