The delicious food and atmosphere of the shop were good. It is a shop that you want to go to normally.

โ โ โ โ โ Before coming to this venue, I was in a rush to find a Japanese restaurant within a reasonable distance as it was getting late for dinner. Several websites recommended this place to try out its authentic Japanese food and claimed it to be affordable, one even mentioning it be around RM11-RM20. Google itself displayed its name, "Gohanya Japanese Restaurant" instead of its rebranded name, "K2". Pictures in websites presented of its food, like bento, gave the impression that such options would be available. As someone who has never ever heard of or been to this place, I decided to trust the reviews and took the information on Google that I see as what I'll be getting - eating at a Japanese restaurant. (wished I had seen that 1 review on Google saying this was a bistro and bar)
Tbh, this place is more of a bar than a restaurant. Even the menu displays its drinks first. It seems like the food is more of an accompaniment to your drinking which is, I presume, the reason for its food being overpriced. Portions were quite small, especially for the price you pay, and tasted average. Only reason I'm not rating this a 2 is because of its friendly service. Frankly, I'm just disappointed.

Hyper friendly service and decent food, although I imagine their speciality is their range of Japanese beverages.
Food pricing a little high but not a bad place to chill, especially if you're fluent in Japanese.
