★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having a good ramen for lunch at here but unfortunately the staffs are not really pay attention to us so I hope that the staffs can be more attentive but actually one of the staffs is really polite so please don’t be mistaken that the service is bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly Ippudo outlets do not have consistent taste across its chain of restaurants. Perhaps it’s a good thing as I would not have gone in here given that a number of Ippudo outlets in Malaysia and Singapore are really just average despite charging high prices.
This outlet offers simple yet delicious ramen. It’s back to basic for this outlet, perfecting its ability to offer what client wants ie a nice bowl of ramen.
The place is comfortable enough and there is also a bar area if you want to stay on for drinks.

Dessert was also fine, but it's true that it's very expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better ramen establishments in Penang. Even though the price is higher, you do get what you pay for in terms of quality. Worth a visit to get authentic Japanese ramen experience without going all the way to Japan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ippudo is my favourite ramen place ever. Good ramen and good service. Taste is fantastic. But may be some of you will say the broth is a bit salty. The combination is just superb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here a few times. But first time during Covid period. They have extremely strict SOPs in place. Even if you are from the same household, seated on the same table, they will get you to seat further apart leaving one seat in between. Not too sure if that’s necessary at all. Even if you are seated on the counter seats, you have to leave a seat space in between. This will make sharing of food extremely difficult between family or even friends. Other than that, the staff is quite friendly. Went there for late lunch around 3pm, but food service was slow, quite surprising given the restaurant wasn’t full. The saving grace was the food - Akamaru ramen was great as usual.
