★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Fried Squid with Garlic was not what we had expected (was looking forward to deep fried squid). But it was still really tasty!
The Otak Otak & Belacan Kang Kung was not bad.
The Grandpa's Recipe Chicken just wasn't special.
One squid dish, one chicken dish, otak otak & kangkung with two servings of rice & two 100 Plus for RM64. Pricing was good but flavours could be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The two of us ordered Assam stingray, kangkong, ah gong chicken, rice and cold drinks. Really yummy food. The fish was very fresh, the kangkong has wok hei and the chicken was awesome. Was also surprised at how reasonable the prices are. Worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A popular place among the locals and tourists. Recommend you make reservation in advance. You get to pick your own seafood and they are always fresh. Love their Asam Fish, Otak-Otak, Sambal Sotong Prawn, Fried Tongue Fish and Fried eggs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you really hungry never ever decide to come to this restaurant as you have to wait for at least one hour! Food is okay but the waitress should have told us the estimated waiting time. The best part is you had to queue outside to get sitted. Not recommendable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 6 year old boy loved the vegetable tofu. My 12 year old daughter loved the steam fish & fried squid. We ordered small sized dishes but the portion was quite a lot. The dishes were delicious & reasonably priced. Service was quite fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pleasant encounter I’d call this. We didn’t plan to come here but the waiting queue at Cottage Spices was really long and it’s quarter past two already.
Assam fish was Muar style (first time we try) very different from the usual one we’d eat in KL but it’s nice. Steamed grouper & stir fried bok choy were also good.
Fishes were fresh & price was transparent.
