★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my second visit to this temple (29 Aug 2017) and each time a group of elderly men would be sitting around the temple. I don’t know the reason.
It is located along the eastern bank of Kinta River and Cititel Express Hotel lies opposite across the river. It is a small temple and has a temple bell which was cast in 1878.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly bunch of people taking care of the place.
You could just walk in grab a pack of joss sticks, light it and place it on the altars in and around the temple. The number of joss sticks for each altar is stated on the altar itself.
The place also provides food for the homeless and anyone could contribute more if they want to. There are some homeless people sitting around the temple but they mean no harm.
There is also a fat cat! It is really friendly. So just give it a few scritches while you are there!
