J	Jia Yaw Chong (Ah Yaw) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite challenging, great trail for hiking training! The view at the mountain top is incredible, priceless and amazing. A must go destination for all the hikers!
a	aik khong choo 一强 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 600m++ elevation gain, 5km+- distance, quite steep for beginners, but is worth for magnificent view at peak, enjoy. Oh ya, beginner may take around 4hr round trip.
P	Pui Cheng Lum on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Depending on your speed, you will need 3-4 hours round trip. It was really pack when I hiked over the weekend. I need to park much further from the starting point. Though it wasnt too much of the problem hiking up to the peak, but it was noisy and crowded at the peak area.

N	Nugwul on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here are some of the pictures during the hike. The best thing about starting a bit late is you can stop, regulate your breathing and take pictures. My 2nd time reaching the peak. The weather was nice up there even at 12.30pm.

Parking is limited at the main area however there are open fields which you can park with a short walk away. You may easily find parking spots if you arrive around 11am-12pm on a weekend. This mountain is tough on the knee, I underestimated it a little especially the beginning part. It took me a little less than 2.5hrs one way. It is pretty steep so expect the same coming down as well with the rocky path. The view at the top is priceless. No regrets!
K	Kenny Chew on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my first time hiking up Gunung Datuk. No rain. It was sunny and at the top, the wind was fresh and breezy. The trails were dry. The hills are steeper and the rocks are slippery. Lots of tree roots that are part of the steps and it really does help a lot. Good place to hike. Will come back again
N	Nur Nadhihah Mohd Nasser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time coming here. Started hiking at 5:30 am, reached the first checkpoint just in time for Subuh prayer. Do note that you can also pray at the peak. Continue my journey and reach the rock peak at 7:30 am. It is very very challenging. Please train before you come. It is uphill all the way. Only tiny bit of walking, the rest is hike. The parking area is already full at 5 am. No charge for parking but you’ll have to pay RM5 for permit at the entrance. If you want to hike before 7 am, it’ll be at your own risk. The rock peak accommodates at most 20 people so it’s best to wait for your turn as it is quite steep and slippery.
