Mr Koo's tonic soup is an absolute delight. Tried twice & loved it. Portion is generous & the price is the cheapest I have encountered in an atmosphere like this. Varieties of other cuisine in this food court located at 4th floor. Don't miss it :)

An up market food court with international and local cuisine. Food tastes ok but small portions. Expect to pay above average prices. Not a regular go to place for meals.

The place is clean and has a lot of stalls. Highly recommended for chicken rice/mee and malay pam mee.

Gurney Food Court aka Gurney Food Hall is located at the 4th floor of Gurney Plaza, it offers wide variety of hawker stall food selection! The price is reasonable and place is clean! We tried the Uncle KinG pan mee which is juicy and delicious, just that it is a bit spicy for me. We also tried the Tamarind Tomyam fish tom yam with noodle, it looks red but tasted a bit blunt and not spicy.

Avoid Kyrin sushi. Ordered bento and a la carte sushi, both contain uncooked rice. This is epic problem and fail for sushi restaurant. Price is expensive as well. Feedback to them when the first page is served but nothing was done or changed. Would go other sushi places.

Pleasantly surprised by the ambience and choice of food offered. Spacious and roomy, with some stalls selling various types of food. Food choices depends on what you like to eat. There are a couple of good stalls. We tried the Thai as the queue must be telling you something. You get quite an ample serving for the price you pay. The overall space and layout makes this a comfortable place to dine in and enjoy your meal.

Kudos to the management of CapitaLand for rejuvenating Gurney Plaza with the introduction of this food hall. I must say that this is a surprise for me after two years away from Penang due to the border closure. I absolutely love the concept (it is NOT just another foodcourt) which is evident of the fact that the management actually put in a lot of thoughts into creating a great dining experience, creating a wonderful ambience (the colour), ensuring comfortable seating (widely spaced out to prevent claustrophobic and ensuring privacy), the variety (local plus regional Malaysia and SEA) and pricing (pretty decent I’d say considering everywhere is so expensive in Malaysia). Thailander and Kin’s Chilli Pan Mee are the two stalls that stand out! Kudos to the two proprietors for the lovely food too!
