★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old but trustworthy shop. Very helpful lady boss compared to the other similar supply shop (Bwy) in PJ. As she attends to customers, you might have to wait a bit to get to your turn. But well at least they’re willing to answer you your queries :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place .My visit there was on introduction ,as I wanted bread mix for baking bread at home.
Choices are great on various bread mixtures.
Selling various other cake ingredients, nuts etc.Found butter at a very reasonable price.Approach is abit difficult but managed with ways.And parking depends on the day and time you visit.A busy area ,may get parking abit further.But glad on Saturdays it's open till 7pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hadn't seen any shop like this for ages. It's so traditional, the shop may look cranky and old. That's why it's a vintage... it's a STORE that provides you with all the cooking needs unavailable elsewhere.. Uncommon items.. If there's a magical cooking stores. This would be the one. Go and meet the wise lady there, if you're unsure about cooking, she would answer your doubts... And if she can't, she'll ask you to Google ??. Her boys are very helpful too.. It's a great store.. If you're lucky a CAT ? would welcome you as you came in. Sounds like a magic store from Harry Potter movie right.. Yup.. Check it out..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a baking ingredient shop around the vicinity of my work and google showed me this shop. The name is German and means 'good brown' which must be a slang for baked goods. Walking into this vintage shop is like stepping into a time machine that takes you at least 4 decades ago. It didn't disappoint. The shop has all you need for basic baking and then some. Most ingredients are imported but reasonably priced if not slightly cheaper than most places. The shopkeeper is friendly and offered tips on the ingredients that you purchase as you're paying. All in all, a great experience. Can't wait to see the result of baking with Guten Braun's products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great shop. They have not dropped their standards..u can get the Baxter coffee here to give your tiramisu the extra kick. The green pea flour is the best to make kueh talam. They have the special bread mixes all prepared to put together into the bread maker. Lady boss knows her product and loves baking or cooking unlike other bake shops.
