★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience for my young ones.. Detailed explanation from Mr Hafiz, very passionate during his briefing which caught our attention the entire session. His studies in fireflies paid off as he showed us his ability to interact with the fireflies which was not a bored boat journey at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knocked down 3 stars for very disappointing customer service. Made booking online, opt to pay cash in person. Whatsapp them to confirm, slow and unhelpful (not addressing my questions), and they insisted payment in advance is needed to secure my booking. I did not do so, until my arrival on that day. My slot was 9am, there was nobody at all, phones off. At 9.10am, a lady showed up nonchalantly, no greetings whatsoever, just took the payment and told another male staff to arrange our kayak. Once at the dock, we were told to go kayak ourselves. We were shocked as we assumed it was a guided tour, given the 2 time slots per day and request for advance payment. We could have just turned up any time since it was self kayak. We were not given any explanation or shown maps at the counter either, so we asked the male staff for direction & estimates before we paddled off. We managed to find the turning into the mangrove forest approx. 1.5km from dock. The only positive experience was the beauty of the forest itself, and spotting a family of wild otters. Unfortunately, the other great reviews were very far off from my experience. I am quite appalled to experience this level of service as it is supposed to represent tourism for Cherating. Very, very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a wonderful place. There was a proper waiting area where you can learn more about fireflies before heading towards the jetty to board your boat. Even the jetty was a proper structure that was well built and lit. The guides in particular Hafiz was well educated and explained everything very well. Truly a worthwhile visit. Kids enjoy it too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to here on Friday night. Im very sleepy rn but im pushing myself to write this because the experience was soooooo nice here.
From the initial chat with hafiz (tour guide), to the briefing and the tour itself. Everything was perfect. The sky there was very clear from pollutions, stars was shining bright, mooon wss very beautiful. Plus, the fireflies were a lot there and they flies and came to our boat. Which thanks to hafiz special method of calling them and we did hold the fireflies in our times. It is really2 great experience. Would definitely recommend it to everyone to try it. It was a breathtaking tour that u will never regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent the entire day in Cherating with activities from Hafiz’s company - ATV ride, river kayaking, and fireflies river tour. Booked all the activities over WhatsApp. Our ATV tour guide Mansor was very friendly and experienced! ?? He knew where to stop for good photo spots and also proactively took many photos and videos for us. He was also taking care of our safety. ? The fireflies river tour was an amazing experience - Hafiz was knowledgeable about fireflies and he could summon them from the trees. We definitely had fun directly interacting with the fireflies.
