Ipoh's best kept secret, the hakka mee in Pasir Putih. Springy noodle drenched in lard and shallot oil is the hero to its sidekick the yong tau fu. Move aside kolo mee, one hakka mee to rule them all!

Strong alkaline taste in noodle. Noodle lack of oil, too dry. Minced pork overcooked. "Liu" okay.

Noodles is so so, got a bit alkaline taste. Pork balls good, different from commercial ones, probably homemade. Tow foo is good too. Shop is small and crowded.

One of the traditional Hakka Mee stall. I think most of their YongTauFu is still home made instead of buying from whole seller like other Mee Stall. The Mee taste different together with those mince pork ? on top. Do check out their Iced Coffee / Kopi Ping. Not like those white coffee but definitely you get a punch from that Cuppa. A must try for coffee lover. Cheers

Good food. Especially need to mix with the pickle garlic really good taste. Service is a bit slow so need to be patient but that's how it is and most of the staff is quite old. So, need to be patient and also take take time to enjoy the nearby surroundings.

Good Hakka noodle with fish balls, meat balls and fried tofu balls !! Ice tea is pretty good too. Note: style is minimalist with clear soup without the overly strong favours

Used to eat this during my childhood as one of my favourites but I believe the fried yong-tow-fu quality has dropped, no longer as good and substantial as before. Service has dropped too, didn't bother to inform quantity served is insufficient and yet overcharged, didn't even care to apologize. Only thing not changed is the noodle quality.
