Good hakka food but some not to my flavor. Abacus is good. Always a must order when I eat here. Pig trotter vinegar taste is just right but having some egg would be more perfect. Pig stomach chicken soup is Abit on the bland side, would prefer it to be more peppery. Came back again on October 2018, as usual it's good except for the ζ’…θœζ‰£θ‚‰. The ζ’…θœ is good but the 扣肉 is on the tough side. Could be better if they chooses fatty meat.

The butter fish fillet is nice. Rice wine chicken is not bad too. Saturated. However, as one of the primary Hakka food, the Yong tofu is very disappointing. The tofu tasted weird and got this funny charcoal taste. Never in my life I tasted nor heard any Hakka yong tofu that has this taste. Considering the price and small portion, 2 out of 5.

This is a Hakka Restaurant located in the Kota Laksamana area of Melaka. The restaurant is tastefully renovated with a Chinese Theme. Menu has a number of interesting Hakka dishes. Their Abacus, Braised Pork with Mui Choy together with Hakka Yong Tofu are good and recommended. Their Salt Baked Chicken is recommended too. Service is reasonable. Cleanliness is good. Prices are reasonable. Cash, e-wallet and credit card payments are accepted here. Parkings are roadside parkings. Patrons on wheelchairs may need to negotiate a step in front of the restaurant which may pose a slight difficulty. Should be able to patronize this restaurant.

Price and quantity were fine. We had the salt baked chicken ($28 S), yong tau fu & butter squid. Chicken was local so no layer of fat. The clear gravy was fragrant with coriander. Squid was nice. Yong tau foo was served with bittergourd which made other pieces against it taste a bit of vegetable. Perhaps such a strongly flavoured ingredient could be cooked separately and added later. Homestyle, authentic.

The mutton soup is really good which is a must try. Honestly, the pig stomach soup is quite disappointing or rather doesn’t suits to my palate. Food is not bad but nothing to wow about except for the mutton soup.

Ordered stewed pork belly, pig stomach chicken soup, crispy milk prawn and fried vegetable for dinner. A bit disappointed with their Hakka stewed pork belly. I personally do not like it coz too sweet. Crispy milk prawn also more to sweet taste. Pig stomach soup consider average… Theirs advantage was reasonable price .

Our favorite place for some authentic Hakka food especially the mutton soup. Abacus and Yong Tau Foo are nice… other dishes are pretty average although acceptable. Ambience is great but can be quite loud when it’s full house. ??

This place has impressive and authentic Hakka food. Well executed. Crispy squid in milk sauce is one of the best crispy squid around. Yong tau foo vegetables were so fresh. Minced meat has the fish meat in it. Brings it up a level. Pork trotters in vinegar is so subtle. Not overwhelming at all. Highly recommended.
