โ โ โ โ โ We discovered this restaurant by chance which is just behind the hotel that we were staying. Walking to the venue, we saw a big crowd and a line, eventhough it was after lunch hour, I guess it might be a good sign in regards to the food.
True enough, although it was a bit of wait for the food, it did not disappoint. The assam pedas is flavoursome and finger licking. Not too spicy, so it is palatable for people who couldn't stand spiciness. The star dish was the asam pedas tetel, it is simply stupendous. The gravy tasted luxurious with a distinct taste of kerisik. A great dish and only RM8 per serving. We also ordered other dishes, but it can't compare to the assam pedas.

โ โ โ โ โ Just dropped by to fill my tummy. The waiter recommended fresh fish for the asam pedas and stingray for the curry. To be honest I wasn't expecting much but boy I was extremely suprised.
The asam pedas was fragrant and the curry was very flavourful and milky. Will visit again whenever I return to Melaka.
May be controversial but I think its the best asam pedas in the area.

โ โ โ โ โ Regular since before the lockdown. I'm a Malaccan and I can safely say that they have the best asam pedas in that tourist-saturated area. Their masak lemak and curry claypots are also super delish. Their portion sizes are big and satisfying and prices are also very reasonable. Friendly owner. I love this place!!
