number 3 among the group of most famous malay warriors during the malay sultanate. Killed by Hang Jebat - his mausoleum is within walking distance.

This is believed to be a tomb of a famous warrior. He too was accused of being disloyal to the Sultan. He and his family were killed and their corpses were thrown into the sea and his house burnt completely to the ground. A few villages then recovered his corpse and gave him a proper burial.

It is nestled between the old historical shops sometime easy to overlook but a very well kept place. There is red fragrant frangipani plant blooming in front of the mausoleum compound. A bit confusing with the directions to here. Luckily, local uncle selling peanuts kindly directed us how to get here. So don't worry if you are lost ask the local they are very friendly. Opposite of the mouseluem there is a beautiful historical shop with classic tile motifs selling traditional confectionaries.

In a fenced up area and we didn't bother finding out if we can go inside. Just viewing from the outside and obviously, a historical sight. Hang Kasturi, one of the, as I like to say, warriors of those days of Malacca and obviously, legend has it as well. Good eye opener that its one of the sightseeing spot for tourists..

It's a burial place, quite small to be honest. There's a gate that isn't locked, just help yourself in and out. Nothing much to see but still worth visiting.

Visited back in Feb. This mausoleum is believed to be the burial place of Hang Kasturi, one of the brothers in arms to the more famous Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat. The latter also has a mausoleum nearby on Jalan Kampung Kuli. This mausoleum is smaller though. The entrance to the mausoleum is a simply decorated gateway with triangle motifs cut all around the walls and archway. The mausoleum is protected by a low wall, which also just about encloses the tomb, making the tomb a tight fit. As for the tomb, itโ€™s two-tiered and flanked by eight short pillars each decorated with the same triangle motif as on the entrance. Inside is a small description of the life of Hang Kasturi. Not a must see, but itโ€™s okay to take a quick look if on Jalan Hang Jebat.

Supposedly the tomb of the great Malaccan warrior of the empire era, Hang Kasturi, who grew up and fought together with Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat. Located along Jonker Street.
