★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is beautifully designed with multiple three-storey units built around a central swimming pool.
Our two-level unit was facing the pool with the master bedroom on level 1. The place was clean and tidy.
Breakfast was delivered to the units.
The only downsides were leaking kitchen sink, clogged shower discharge (quickly rectified after complaint), clogged toilet (just before checking out). Despite all of these, the stay was a pleasant experience and if we return to Taiping, this place will be on top of our list

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My second time staying here with my family. Love this place. Clean, efficient service and great location - so near to the Lake Garden. Deffinately recommended if visiting Taiping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pool is quite huge and satisfied to swim.
As for the room
Opal Room - need a major upgrade in term of curtain, lamp, bathroom sink, aircond and fridge.
Moreover, cleanliness of the room need to upgrade as well.
Akoya Pearl Room - not advisable to book if it is raining, there is water dripping from the window to the floor.
Kenshi Pearl Room - need upgrade for side lamp.
As for breakfast, not much variety of breakfast but it is delicious. Appreciate if hotel could have chili sauce for western set because it is plain without sauce.
If you plan to go weekdays may as well direct liaise with the hotel instead of Agoda or Booking.com because the price is way cheaper. Stayed more that 1 night will have another 5% discount.
If you are coming with family. Good if you book a suite with two rooms.
Parking area is also needed an expansion.
Overall it is a nice place to stay.
Appreciate if hermitage could upgrade that!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The curtains and floor is soaking wet in the bedroom... the shower is the worst. After 2nd person bathe there is no more hot water ...so the rest of the family have to bath in COLD water... luckily no one got sick. When ask why no cold water they say have to wait for 1 hour to boil the water. Imagine u have a family of 6.. u came back at midnight and have to take turn to bath for 2/3 hours...Next morning wanted to go for a swim but after thinking about the waiting of the hot water make me think 100 times....the only plus side about the place is the settings is nice...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very calm and secluded location. Nice set up and maybe appropriate for a private group of families to just relax and enjoy the pool.
No food and beverages on premise, but you certainly can have lunches and dinners just minutes away.
Location and road to get there is a bit tricky. Nonetheless its a good alternatives to 5-star in Taiping.
