★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, please take note that the restaurant is right next to Face To Face Noodle House. Don’t be fooled by the Tan Hiong Hainan Kopitiam signboard, the private kitchen is right above this kopitiam.
I was told that the head chef moved here and was assured that the food taste the same as before.
Lobster platter: the combination is as many as before and taste the same
Stuffed chicken: this is so good! Must order!!
Lotus root: comes with lots of macadamia nuts but somehow I feel it lacked abit of wok hei.
Salted egg sotong: the sotong is so crunchy and juicy. Another crowd favourite.
Braised yee mee: this is as good as before, so good that we ordered another plate ?
Sweet taro: ??????
I have no idea if it’s affected by the pandemic but it’s sad to see that the restaurant has loss its former glory. I can assure that the service is definitely 5 stars and the captain is very humble + attentive.
