★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really old style dim sum shop. Nothing fancy and all is self service. They serve the usual dim sum plus steam bun. Range is not extensive but is OK. Taste wise average and portion is above average. They also serve chicken rice every Tues, Thurs and Saturday. Pleas take note that they open early at 6.00 am and closes around 10.00 am. Do come early.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This dim sum shop is old school & as traditional as you can get. It means that this place has been around a long time & everything is handmade the old fashion way. So, if you are looking for traditional dim sum deliciousness in big bite size & not the dainty ones in fine dining restaurants that doesn't seem to hit the stomach, THIS is the place to come & fill up..! Enjoy it with a hot cup of whatever tickles your fancy. Usually I like my dim sum with a hot pot of Chinese tea.
But be warned. DO come early because the regulars will beat you to it. They are really early..! Before you know it, everything is sold out. I was there at 7.15 a.m. & the popular "sang york pau" was SOLD OUT..! The sticky rice is delicious. The dim sum are good but I don't fancy the "char siew pau." I find it too thick & "clumpy" but maybe that is just me.
Not located in a glamourous location yet somehow it is like the neighnbourhood coffee shop/watering hole for good friends to enjoy breakfast together. "Free" parking is also easier early in the morning. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A old traditional dim sum coffee shop passed down to the son. Its mostly a place for regular here for decades. Don t expect too much from the taste of it if comparing to the current dim sum thats available elsewhere. Over here, its self service by picking what you want from the steaming stove and getting your own utensil plus the sauces. Of course, the prices is reasonable low. No harm trying if you are at Pudu area in the wee hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reached around 7.45am on a public holiday and it wad pretty crowded! We waited awhile for the table.
Basically, afew things u should know:
1. No dimsum trolley. U need to self serve the dim sum u want
2. The typical items like har gao or egg tarts u will usually find in normal dim sum shops arent available here. This shop only serves their traditional dimsum so go with their flow.
3. Dim sim is priced at RM4 each and bao is RM2. 50 each
I enjoyed their char siew bao! Too bad we didn't get to try their famous bao zai fan cause it was sold out!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old fashion dim sum restaurant served with authentic and traditional generous filling dim sum, chicken rice bowl, chicken glutinous rice and etc with friendly price. Personal prefer their chicken rice bowl, glutinous chicken rice and marinated short ribs which triggered my childhood food memories. Staff here mostly senior citizens. Self service that you need to pick your foods, sauces and utensil at steaming stove near entrance area. Thronged by local uncles enjoy their breakfast. To come early (before 7.15am) to avoid crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite the set up is not fancy or insta worthy, the dim sum here is definitely worthy. Our third visit and it’s always full house even at 8am! Presentation wise not pretty but taste good and cheap. Love the steamed stuffed tofu pok, custard egg and char siew pow!
