Came to know a few owners and sub owners residing in this area are letting out the premises as "hotel" and homestay in which i have no complaint at all.
But handful of this irresponsible owners and sub owners simply just care for the income from the rental but not providing the require hygiene and necessity but charging the price if a regular hotel rate and even many tunes much higher than a regular hotel rate nearby.
Reason for sharing this is because i did came across many of such owners and sub owners (making some money thru the owners) especially at Genting View Resorts from Ramin,Permai and even Kempas.
They simply uses the shower towel and even the face towel provided to the guests to wipe and clean up the toilet floors as well as the toilet bowl.
Afterwhich to save cost,they will simply just hang out these towels along the stauts and carpark area to dry up and ready for the next ignorant guests to use as their bath or face towel.
Many even collected old mattress from discard and use it to accommodate the homestay to make extras. Bedbugs are a common issues in these places.
If anyone coming by to Genting,i strongly recommend U to check into a proper hotel which there are a handful from. Genting Permai (nearby the Petron and Starbucks),along Goh Tong Jaya and all the stretch up to Genting Highland.
In the event that if U cannot find any hotel during the peak seasons,don't hesitate to simply stop by a open carparks along Genting Premium Outlets and also up at Genting. U will get to enjoy the natural beauty,the cool and breeze of Genting highland at no expenses.
BUT PLEASE REMEMBER TO WIND DOWN YOYR VEHICLE / CAR WINDOWS SLIGHTLY OPEN IF U DECIDE TO SLEEP AND "CAMP" INSIDE YOUR CARS.
* WARNING: CAN BE VERY VERY COLD OUT THERE AT NITE THRU THE EARLY MORNING.
