β β β β β Old but gold japanese restaurant in Hilton KL. Decent service, food was all top quality. Maybe too much salty sauce with the tepanyaki steak. Great unagi rolls, soft shell crab rolls a bit oily. Salmon sushi is ?????? Overall good experience and convenient

β β β β β The sashimi was super fresh. Taste of food was expected as it is on a pricier range. The only downfall was we waited for almost 30 minutes to get extra pickle ginger and we have to asked twice.

β β β β β Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Prices were steep but the quality of food wasnβt up to par. Most annoyingly, the wait staff took forever to flag down each time. I wouldnβt recommend Iketeru unless you really have no other options.

β β β β β Came here for a Valentine's and Anniversary celebration.
First things first, the seating plan was awkward. Tables were pretty cramped together and neighbouring tables could definitely hear your conversations. It wasn't too comfortable especially during Covid season were we should be spaced out even more so with our masks off.
We ordered the Wagyu Teppan Course. Wanted to try the Seafood Teppan Course but they said lobster was out of stock that night. The time taken for the food to be served course by course was satisfactory, not too fast and not too slow, just enough time to enjoy the food. The sashimi was fresh and my favourite was the Halibut & Hokkaido Scallop. The main course however, was a bit underwhelming as the beef was too fatty and way undercooked even though we were asked our preferred doneness. The dessert was also a bit underwhelming as it was just a scoop of ice cream with some fruits. With the price paid I would've expected more.
The floor staff that night was very attentive and friendly. For the service I have no complaints, we were very well taken care of.
Overall I would say Iketeru is a nice place. But if you want a very nice experience or a romantic dinner I would suggest looking elsewhere as the food experience and price paid doesn't match up in my opinion :)

The landscape towards the restaurant gives a very soothing feeling prior to entering into this fine Japanese dining experience. Heavy main door by the way.
As expected, customer service is excellent and so is the commanding price. They have a wide range of fresh seafood for you to choose from. If you love sashimi and wagyu, u won't go wrong ordering and eating here.
Loved the umi and salmon belly naturally salted. Definitely will recommend if you just want to eat really high quality Japanese food inside the hotel where you stay and complete with the Hilton experience. Even more so if you have Hilton Honours and utilising it's membership discount benefits.
But if you have time to explore and travel around KL, you will be spoiled for choice

β β β β β Great food, fresh and absolutely delicious. We had the Omakase. The experience was just wonderful and just what we needed to celebrate my mum's birthday. Dined in one of those special rooms to avoid covid. Ms Azura was serving us the entire night. She was very professional with exceptional service. Our Chef Hamada patiently dished out our food explaining the ingredients on each dish we had as part of the Omakase. He spoke Japanese with my dad and wwe were so appreciative of his dishes especially the sauce in each and every one of them. Thank you for this amazing experience! Will definitely dine here again. I highly recommend the Omakase set.
