β β β β β The set meal portions are acceptable and quite filling. Don't expect refined Japanese food. The taste just fall short of the higher end Japanese restaurants. The ramen soup is kinda diluted and the noodle texture is just lacking the springyness. Felt that the pork dishes are better than the chicken. Price acceptable for the set meals but definitely expensive for the Ala carte items.

β β β β β Ordered buta motsunabe, the broth is rich in taste and it is very delicious to taste! Motsunabe uses the pork intestines so for those who doesnβt like to eat animalβs offal better avoid this dish.
The unagi roll is too expensive, RM28 for one roll with just four separate sushi.
Customer service is great. Dining atmosphere is fine.

β β β β β I really enjoyed the food and table service is great.
The new thing they added was the standing divider. Why I highlighted this? The place is a small sqft restaurant and this standing divider blocked the full view of the restaurant for the incoming customers. I have highlighted this several times but it seems the owner's preference MUST have that divider in placed. The place looked really cramped with this divider placed in front of the main entrance. If there is a luxury of space, then it would be good but not in this little restaurant.

β β β β β Volcano pork curry with rice was alright. The sauce was quite salty. The fried iberico pork was good, but also quite salty. We ordered some rolls too - they were decent but not great.
The service was slow, and difficult to get their attention. They looked overwhelmed over the full lunch crowd. Overall it was a mediocre experience.

β β β β β The black pork set was delicious and price was reasonably priced for being in Mid Valley and as a Japanese restaurant. Service was good as well and the waiters seem kind. For the price and location, the place is definitely worth visiting.

β β β β β Went for lunch on Saturday, good food and service. Pork karagae paella was a little salty and the other pork set was delicious. Hot green tea refillable as usual. Hot matcha was nice. Total for 2 person is RM76.
Great ambience, however minus 1 star as I saw the waiter guy in yellow shirt adjusted the ginger with his bare hands before serving it to the othe customer. Also, he was our cashier and was kinda slow.
Also love the fact that it's less than 1min walk to the washroom ! Haha
